Bit of a miracle the Rangers are down only 0-1 after that abysmal effort.

 

And as good as the Canes PK is, this all comes down to the Rangers #1 PP being too passive, not mobile enough and getting outworked by the PK unit. Any scouting prep going into this series would tell them you've simply got to outwork the Canes PK to get any sort of quality chances. The Rangers PP hasn't done that. The lack of success is more on them than what the Canes PK has done.

It's funny. After game 1 against Pittsburgh,  a reporter asked Reaves if the team could sustain the energy they had in the first 3 periods aftersuchva long game. He responded with something like "we have to,  this is the playoffs ".

Fox looks done. Seriously think injecting Jones in over Braun would be a step in the right direction to try and find some offense from somewhere. Anywhere.
