They're playing Buffalo who is beatable before you go into every other day and isles 2 of 3 with bruins there, too. Makes a lot of sense to give Geo a winnable game. I’m more concerned with Igor sitting idle for nearly a week than I am with “needing” to play Georgiev just because of the way the schedule shakes. If the Ottawa game had happened, I understand. But, end of the day, we need him in there as often as possible. Just my opinion. I get needing Georgiev to see some action, but I just feel like a week off is a lot for someone we need being on the ball. Either way, no excuse tonight. Should grab 2 points.
