Obviously now, as opposed to two years ago, maybe guys know me a little more and the way I play. But it doesn’t change anything for me. I think you still try and play the same way, I think you still try and make plays, play well defensively. Maybe, but it doesn’t change much for the way I play.” — Adam Fox on his approach to games GIF to HYPE: 1

Sod16 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 We could use a little Dustin Tokarski. It's always worked in the past.
Kevin Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 The Sabres being at .500 almost 1/4 off the way into the season is kinda surprising. Hopefully our boys aren’t looking past them. Big W today. 5-1 Rangers.
shestYORKin Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 it’s still the Sabres. for everyone who’s bitched this year about sending kids down for development, tonight’s your chance to see how they’d look.

Right, and after the Laf hatty, we'll hear "SeE hE's FinE!!"...just because he lit up the worst team in the AHL. 1

CBrowningPI Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Would love a blowout but I'm feelin Rangers 4-2 . Bread Hatty tonight.

RichieNextel305 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Georgiev in. Why? No clue. We have been off since Thursday and are off until Wednesday. Edited November 21, 2021 by RichieNextel305
RichieNextel305 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Tinordi also in, per Gallant. Didn’t say who was out on D for him.
Pete Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Because you can't just let Georgiev sit forever, he's already been on the bench for a week. They're playing Buffalo who is beatable before you go into every other day and isles 2 of 3 with bruins there, too. Makes a lot of sense to give Geo a winnable game. Edited November 21, 2021 by Pete
RichieNextel305 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Georgiev just played vs. NJ. I’m more concerned with Igor sitting idle for nearly a week than I am with “needing” to play Georgiev just because of the way the schedule shakes. It’s not as if we’ve been pounded with tons of games in a short stretch. I agree it’s a winnable game.
Pete Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 NJ was a week ago. If you want Shesty playing the next three games, which I'm assuming you do, that's just way too long a break.
RichieNextel305 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I just look at it like, this is your starter. If it were a grueling stretch here, I understand. If the Ottawa game had happened, I understand. But, end of the day, we need him in there as often as possible. Just my opinion. I get needing Georgiev to see some action, but I just feel like a week off is a lot for someone we need being on the ball. Either way, no excuse tonight. Should grab 2 points.
Bugg Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Georgiev sucks. Still should be a win and 2 points.
Parsley Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 If they had beaten Toronto I could see playing Georgiev, but we need points and these Sabres aren’t that bad.
