I'm not a fan of Gauthier but I rather see him play on Zibanejad's line than Goodrow, but I think Chytil is the real choice for right wing on that line.

How long will the Rangers play their best faceoff man on wing?

Rooney?  LOL

Not for nuthin' but I gotta say I'm kinda liking that 4th line with Reaves/Rooney and Hunt.  The puck has been in the opposition end of the ice a lot of the times they're out there.  I say one of them bags one tonight....

I like Rooney, not a fan of Hunt.  Reaves hits every chance he gets.  The line would be better with Blais on it.

Should be Kreider-Zibanejad-Chytil and Lafrenière-Goodrow-Gauthier, but whatever.

Agree. Goodrow is solid in the middle and Kreider and Zibs can probably offset the defensive deficiencies of Chytil.  Gauthier and Chytil together with Laf? Kinda scary.

It's ugly, but it's also basically the spare parts line because Lafreniere hasn't forced his way into a top-six role, and Gauthier is their forward Hajek (the guy they apparently never want to give up on, ever).

Doesnt need to be a top 6 role, but gotta give him something on his line if you expect him to produce.

I'd like to see Kakko tried on the Zibanejad line and Hunt moved to 2 or 3RW. Think he can really compliment Panarin-Strome and Lafreniere-Chytil

Interesting, but the fatal flaw in that line is that I have yet to see Hunt complete a pass in the offensive zone. As long as he never touches the puck that might work.

Hasn't this been the 3rd line last two games or so? I've actually really liked this line. It's the most I've noticed all 3 of them all season.

I'd have him there to be first on the puck, bump it to a teammate, and take a shot.

He has decent offensive ability. He's not really a 4th liner.

Immediately after his 3 game goal streak

well now, hmmm, has that kind of goal scoring tear ever happened?

I'll take the way under and say he gets hurt well before that happens. BUT hoping to be wrong and he magically finds his game and consistently becomes the guy we've been waiting on.
