We have people here who asked the same type of questions...I remember games 2 years ago where people would complain after a 5-1 loss (or win) that Kakko didn't play more and he's never develop. Well here he is, playing more, not really developing offensively all that quickly playing with some of the team's best players...I dunno. Whatever. Hunt was supposed to be an extra forward this season, which would have been a good role for him. Instead you've got Rooney on the 3rd line wing and Goodrow on the 1st. I dont care how much he's paid, that was McDavid doing McDavid things. Besides that goal we didn't really see much of McDavid, they did a decent job stopping him. And expectations for all players aren't equal. Play from :35 second mark here you'll see Trouba transition by pivoting the wrong way opening up a lane in the middle of the ice that McDavid exploited. I don't know how you blame Trouba the most here. First its weak by Rooney and Hunt allowing him to get to the middle of the ice and after that you see McDavid goes to his right (towards Nemeth) and humiliates him.
