Phil Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music-arts/author-tom-clancy-dead-66-article-1.1473782 Tom Clancy, the best-selling author whose espionage thrillers set the bar for military , died Tuesday night, the New York Times reported. He was 66. This sucks so much. Clancy has been my favorite author for as long as I can remember. I own countless books, but no other author can lay claim to owning an entire shelf's worth (plus) of just his works the way Clancy can in my house. RIP, Tom. Thanks for your amazing work!
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I never read his stuff, but he's pretty well-know for his books and even the video games. Wow. RIP
Morphinity 2.0 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Ugh, no way. I have always loved his books. RIP
NYR2711 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I loved all his books, and was shocked when I saw this. RIP, was he sick?
Phil Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 COD is still unknown. Apparently he died in the hospital though, so he may have been sick.
Dave Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Never really got into him, but it's obviously a loss to the world of literature. RIP.
L'albatros Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Never really got into him, but it's obviously a loss to the world of literature. RIP. +1. Same here.
rvbcaboose Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 RIP. Man, so many memories. Red Storm Rising was the shit.
FleshistheFever Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Wow. First time I've seen this. His attention to detail was what I loved the most about him. Great writer. R.I.P.
McDougalfaschnitzer Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Sucks to hear. I think the only thing I read of his was the first Rainbow Six, but I enjoyed it.
