LindG1000
Good to know pedagogy has made good progress in actual question forming over the years. Sad to know that holding students accountable to their own learning has clearly flown out the window.

I am Scags
Saw this several years ago, pretty fascinating the level of knowledge needed in 1912 when compared to today. You would think it should be opposite now that we have 101 years of further knowledge under our belts. Barring having to sketch Sir Walter Raleigh and Peter Stuyvesant which is pretty ridiculous, it's pretty obvious that we've been dumbed down. Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
To be fair, there were no standardized tests during this period. This 8th grade class ha this test, another may have been told to spell bacon and count to 8.

Morphinity 2.0
Notice how there's no multiple choice. You either know it or you don't.
Jules
Notice how there's no multiple choice. You either know it or you don't. By far my greatest surprise about college tests in the US was the occasional inclusion of multiple choice segments. I hadn't seen those in forever. Fuhgeddaboudit
That's what I loved about my Business Law class in college, my professor was amazing and we had written exams. Funny how I got a really good grade in that class and I just suck at multiple choice questions, not sure why.
