  1. The thing I thought about Carol was that when Rick and Glenn lathered up in zombie guts in season one, it didn't work. I was surprised they brought that back. But man was she badass. I think she's gone through one of the biggest character transformations.
  2. So... did anyone catch the premiere last night? It was very intense. I thought the action was great and I loved the intensity from Carol and Tyrese. I jumped out of my chair with the Morgan tease at the end. However, I honestly didn't expect Terminus to last only two episodes. And then there's this. http://www.vanityfair.com/vf-hollywood/2014/10/the-walking-dead-premiere-flaw?mbid=social_twitter I was expecting someone major to die last night. I didn't want it, but it felt right. As the article states, it is incredibly difficult to believe that all of the characters (except Beth) are safe and sound. With that said, it is entirely possible that we are surprised by a death in the next few episodes, because presumably they will be on the search for shelter for a period of time. I still love the show. I love the characters. But if it prolongs and enhances the story, kill a character.
  3. They missed a few fouls in added time as well. Something was off in this game.
  4. Arsenal advance despite Besiktas pushing hard and a Debuchy red card. That was too close for comfort.
  5. I know last year didn't work out, but do you want to try to do a Fantasy Football league again this year?

  7. I will celebrate today by celebrating tomorrow.
  8. I actually really enjoyed last night's episode. I thought it was authentic to warfare, which is what GRRM has always tried to do with the ASOIAF story. It was messy, it was long, it was hard to follow at times, but you were in the middle of the battle.
  9. I thought it was fantastic, the whole episode. The Jorah betrayal, Mole's town, Moat Cailin/Ramsay's elevation, the Vale council, and of course the Mountain vs. The Viper, were all done fantastically. Also, Missandei.
  10. That was such a great episode. The acting from everyone was phenomenal. Oberyn's speech to Tyrion was great.
  11. You should have just used a bunch of quotes from The Producers.
  12. Sansa's character is great. With all she's been through, she managed to stay alive. For that alone, you have to respect her character.
  13. Well, at least she's a real character with appropriate on-air time. It's not like Roz.
  14. 'Game of Thrones' renewed for TWO more seasons Like it wouldn't have
  15. My brother, parents and I watch Boardwalk, Walking Dead and soon 24. We all watch in separate rooms. It's just necessary.
  16. I'm not big on watching episodes twice if I don't have to. I watch too many shows to have that kind of time. That's another factor in not watching with friends. As long as I'm not distracted, I typically pick up on everything.
  17. Yea. Even I had to look up who it was that was sent to the Wall again. They didn't really do a good enough job at making that stick.
  18. Same. I watched it with my friends last season and I've decided against this season. I have an excuse, but they would just ask too many damn questions since I read the books.
  19. Great premiere. Agreed about Hound/Arya and Oberyn. Great moments there. I loved Jon's quip at Janos Slynt. I liked that they didn't try and jam everyone in this episode as well.
