  1. This guy has been all over the place already. I'm sure it's been pretty overwhelming for him.
  2. Needs more glitter. No, just kidding. It looks awesome.
  3. Wow, that sucks. All the best to him, he was a warrior here. I was really hoping he would have been able to lift the Cup with Tampa at some point.
  4. It's just really nice to see something finally goes the Rangers way when it comes to the draft and the lottery. I was salty for the longest time back in 2004 when the Rangers were dreadful and got totally screwed out of a top pick. It was all too convenient for the Penguins to wind up with Crosby.
  5. I can't remember where I read it, but it sounds like it's mutual between Zucc and Dallas about him being there. So, I'm thinking another first round pick is on its way.
  6. Yes! Happy Kakko Day to everyone! Between this, and perhaps a big trade or two, this is a very exciting day for this organization!
  7. I'm just hoping this leads to the Rangers being a Cup contender for a longer period of time. They had some good teams during the Lundqvist Era, but I thought really only a two or three of the teams in his tenure were real Cup contenders. Henrik was a big reason some of those teams even had a shot at a deep run, let alone a championship. Given the talent that's here and still coming, I'd like to see a longer window for a Stanley Cup.
  8. This is such a lay-up that not even the Rangers can miss it. Although, me using a basketball analogy for hockey doesn't help. :p
  9. Honestly, I was kind of 'meh' about it. I knew he was hyped and talented, but something about him really rubbed me the wrong way. I just didn't have a great feeling about him. I laughed when Bobby Clarke absolutely had to have him as part of the Lindros trade. I loved watching him flop, especially over there.
  10. Phil is on the Rangers' payroll as an insider, CONFIRMED.
  11. I don't think I've been this excited about a Rangers draft since they drafted the much hyped Cherepanov. Hopefully everything works a little better than that.
  12. Yeah, it's why I like but don't like caps at the same time. I'd just hate to have another year like 2004 where we lost an entire season. 2012 was bad enough losing about half a season. That was only eight years later.
  13. It's things like this that make me fear there's going to be another lockout at some point. That's just a ridiculous contract for a Kevin Hayes.
  14. I don't know if it's too early to say "make or break kind of season", but Andersson really needs to show me a lot more. Even if it still may be too early, I haven't been too enthused. I think he certainly has potential to be a decent bottom six center. I still don't think they should have wasted that first round pick on him which is why I might be harder on him than most might be. I guess going into the season, if that's one of my big worries, we may be OK. lol
  15. This is an extremely rare win/win position for the Rangers (including a lot of luck landing the #2 pick). lol
  16. Gorton was a top executive prospect for a reason. He's just getting started, too.
  17. Yeah, great point. Looking at the defense a month or so ago gave me the shivers. But, now, damn. I can't wait to see more of Hajek. Him getting injured really sucked. He looked really good his brief stint.
  18. I'm sure he's bummed we didn't sign Karlsson, but if those additions don't add some excitement, I don't know what to tell him. lol
