  1. Georgiev is as good as as gone, trade deadline or offseason. Next year give Shesterkin 60 games or so and Henrik will be backup/mentor to close out his career. I would prefer sooner rather than later for Georgiev because this three goalie system is not helping anybody.
  2. It would've been the oddest of his career. Comes in that situation, plays six minutes and gets the victory. lol
  3. Yeah, in a shared shutout neither goalie actually gets credit for one in their statistics. It basically becomes a team shutout. It's an odd thing.
  4. I felt there was just too much time time off early on. It was counter productive for this team trying to find itself. Yeah, it's hectic, but I'd rather have it this way. Get playing, get some more chemistry going, just play.
  5. Between his angles, glove hand and rebound control, there's just nothing there most of the time.
  6. One day when Kakko is top five in the league in scoring, we'll look back at all of this and laugh.
  7. No, just one. It was a 1-0 game when he came back in. Now that he gave up a goal, he's back to being the goalie of record.
  8. If the score holds up as a shutout, Lundqvist will because he was in goal when the game-winning goal was scored.
  9. I kind of think he wants to stay here and be a part of the process, but he also wants a big payday too. We'll see.
  10. I have a bad feeling if they trade Kreider, he's going to be awesome all the time (or at least more consistent like he is now) and finally be what I thought he was going to develop into a few years ago. I would rather they re-sign him and he can stay here and go back to being inconsistent after his contract year is over. lol
  11. I know. lol I do think something needs to happen soon, though. This three goalie system is not good for anybody. Just trade Georgiev so he can play regularly somewhere. Give Shesterkin the majority of the remaning starts and have Henrik settle in as the veteran backup and mentor. Next year give Shesterkin 60 games or so. This will be good for all three. I don't think Gorton is going to get a King's random for Georgiev, if that's what he thinks.
  12. I think Colorado would be a great fit for him. They are stacked enough to where they could get by with his deficiencies. He could play just well enough on that team and still get plenty of support. He would need to be on a super team like that. Tampa and Washington are like that too, but they obviously already have stalwarts in goal. He's most likely not going anywhere anyway, but I'd like to see him on the Avalanche.
  13. I liked Hayes just fine, but Philadelphia can have him for those years and dollar.
