Thank you for the memories, Marc! You were a beast here, a 'stal'wart, if you will. Watching him grow up with other bluelines like McDonagh and Girardi was a treat. As special as the 2014-2015 Rangers teams were, I also really liked the 2012 team. Not only was Lundqvist great that year, a Vezina season, the defense was a monster too. Those early 2010 teams were definitely led by their defense and goaltending and Staal was a big reason why. It's the end of an era right here. As far as the free cap space goes, is it possible they buyout both Lundqvist and Brendan Smith now too?

Why would he retire and leave money on the table? I don't think he's that generous. Unless I don't know what I'm talking about regarding his contract. lol I thought a buyout would really be the only way to sever ties.

Pretty much, yeah. This is basically going to wind up being Netflix's version of AHS. The first season was great, and the second season looks like it's going to be fantastic as well. I'm really looking forward to it.

I don't really see Hank leaving money on the table out of the goodness of his heart. One more year as a backup isn't going to hurt a team that could very well not make the playoffs anyway. He'll be there to finish things out and help Shesterkin along the way. Meanwhile, you have a guy like Georgiev whom you can trade and get some solid assets for even if it's just a second round pick or something. I don't really see him backing up Igor for the rest of his career/

Also a fantastic series on Apple. It's just a limited series, one and done. Great acting also, especially by Chris Evans.

I hear you there. I do think Apple has a pretty good library of original shows and movies to make it worth the $5 monthly price tag, though. If anything, you watch what I want, like I usually do, then cancel when you're done.

It sucks, but it is is what it is. It's going to be like this for at least another year for sure. I saw this on Reddit where MSG stated they aren't allowing any crowds until at least 2021. Maybe someone on here can confirm that? It makes sense. With all of the excitement around the Rangers with Lafreniere, it will suck not having the MSG crowd next season.

I liked Owen Nolan a lot also, but if that's what Lafreniere becomes, then that's kind of disappointing. I'm not expecting a McDavid or Crosby type either, but if it's a MacKinnon or borderline MacKinnon type, I will be elated.
