  1. -- Another horror-drama series from Mike Flanagan. I already tore through this because I'm a big fan of his and loved it. Don't go into it remotely expecting anything like Hill House or Bly Manor. It's a different type of horror that maintains a lot of Flanagan's trademarks like a slow burn, lots of character development, dialogue and monologuing. Hill House is definitely creepier but this might be my favorite piece Flanagan has done so far. I thought it was really well developed.
  2. -- It's fucking all over social media so I caved and tore through it. I thought it was good. It had some standout moments, but I think it lost some quality as the story progressed. It's definitely worth a watch at the very least. It seems like they intend to draw it out into further seasons which I think hampered it from having a tighter overall story.
  3. Anyone? I binged on the first 2 seasons on Netflix, now on the 3rd on Hulu. Read they are canceling it but hope someone picks it up for some sort of finale
  4. Anyone? Anyone? Phenomenal so far, 2 episodes in
  5. Pumped for this spin-off. The main Vikings series was such an enjoyable ride and was so well-produced. The cinematography was elite. But it also was gifted with magnetic performers who really drew you in. Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Alex Andersen (Ivar), and Gustaf Skarsgard (Floki) were impossible not to invest in. Let's see if the spin-off can produce the same. Get hyped @Puck Head, @siddious, @Ranger Lothbrok!
  6. Anyone watching? It was a little tough to get into at first because everyone is speaking Spanish but its dubbed over in English so the dialogue doesn't match the actor's mouths. Huge pet peeve of mine, such as when audio isn't synched to visual. Anyways, it has me hooked now. Some of the dialogue is kinda lame, not sure if it is due to translation differences or just odd writing, but the show is great. I just started season(part) 3 today before work while my youngest was napping. https://www.netflix.com/title/80192098
  7. Anyone see this? I just saw a suggested tweet announcing Season 2 being released on October 14. Pretty sure I’ll be watching this this week.
  8. Anyone watch this yet on Netflix? It was a pretty good documentary on the Danbury Trashers, has some familiar faces in it too. I recommend watching.
  9. Anyone else watching? After my brother in law recommended it I was a little hesitant at first after reading the synopsis but after watching the trailer and giving it a chance my wife and I are hooked. We watched the first season in four nights. Starting season two tonight. We haven't been this hooked since probably Ozark.
  10. I wasted so much time finally coming around on this show, but I'm so glad I did. Absolutely hysterical! Ew, David!
  11. -- "On one day in 1989, 43 infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by billionaire industrialist Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who creates the Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world." Time travel. Super powers. What's not to like? Finally got around to watching this (two seasons so far with a third on the way). Anyone else?
