An odd man rush with Panarin, Trasaenko and Fox on the ice and the end result is a point shot by Mikkola is kind of like the Bulls on a break with Jordan and Pippen and settling for a Bill Weeddington 22 foot jumper.

This really sucks.. Dude isn’t in the top 15 on the roster in terms of “talent”, but is somehow about the most noticeable guy on the roster when he’s out of the lineup.

What a weird day to walk down draft memory lane.. You get to watch a recent #9 overall pick get traded for essentially an 8th round pick in a 7 round draft and get to watch another heralded top 10 pick ply his trade for the Capitals, reminding anyone who has ever watched a hockey game that we should have had Vladdy T back in 2010. We should probably trade more future picks as a general rule of thumb. Is it better to ask “oh, what if?” than constantly say “oh what the fuck!”

Any time you can trade a former #9 overall for a guy who sounds like he runs a Allstate office outside of Spokane, you have to do it.. The 7th rounder is gravy.
