Finally, on vacation! Just finished an 11 hour day and a 51 hour week from Sunday to last Saturday. My body and mind need this.

Really not the case at all. There's nothing egotistical about it, it's just a better and more efficient driving experience. From a practical standpoint alone, I can stay low on my rpm's and gain another 10mpg. This is why in every European country manual transmissions still dominate the market. Gas is so much more expensive that an auto isn't as practical. I drive a stick because I enjoy cars and enjoy driving. Why let a car dictate static sets of rpm's for every situation or terrain when I can control it? It's safer in snow or during rain, you can control your fuel consumption and you become much more in tune with your vehicle. I appreciate the trolls though. :D

Lol well don't knock it til you try it. One long drive out to the Hamptons may change your entire perspective. ;)

Fun doesn't have to mean fast. It's controlling the torque of the car, knowing what it's going to do, etc. you don't have to keep track of anything once you learn either, it's really an after thought.

It's really not hard to learn at all. If you are any kind of control freak, you'd enjoy the hell out of it. Stop-and-go traffic in a city isn't too bad, the only time I ever get "annoyed" when driving a stick is being stuck in bumper-to-bumper situations on a steep hill. Having to hold the e-brake (hold the clutch on a hill = bad for clutch) sucks.

Now on to learning stick, which will make you a 100% better driver. :)

Visa's are a scam in all honesty. The amount of money you pay is outrageous, especially for any kind of expedited services.

Awwwwya. Yeah Rome on the whole I'm really lucky. In fact, my left shoulder doesn't hurt (unless you touch the bruise), it's my right side that is all stiff and locked up. Don't know if that's because the seat belt kept that side from whipping or what, but yeah I'm happy to have come out of it with just the minimum.

Yeah I spent all of yesterday with a high fever, pretty much sleeping for a couple of hours, up for maybe an hour and then back to sleep. That kind of fever is killer too, nothing but aches and pains everywhere and a splitting headache/earache. Went down from 102.8 to 100.1 by 7 and that was like a miracle. Still felt crappy but no where near as bad. Now I'm running in the 99's and can actually stand without being dizzy. I think once the fever breaks completely I'll be fine, I just can't wait to get to that point. Thanks for the well wishes guys. :)

Just woke up after getting discharged from the hospital. Caught some kind of stomach virus and had some of the worst throwing up spells I've ever had. Nothing was in my belly either so it hurt that much more. I'd never wish that kind of sickness on anyone. :(

Hard to believe LGA ranks higher than Phila international in terms of worst airports. That place seriously is mystifyingly bad , like they let Alzheimer's patients design it and they kept forgetting the buildings they already made so they just made new ones. Honestly I wish we could just shut that place down and start over, it's terrible.

Buying a super Nintendo again was such a great decision. Honestly haven't had this much fun gaming in a while. Fuck newer games, 16bit graphics ftw.
