  1. If you want to check out BG3 you really need to bring time. I am at 65 hours played and feels like I am at most 1/3 through the game. Granted about 10 hours might be reloads and me slowly crawling due to regions with too many NPCs for my GPU to handle, but the options are massive.
  2. I guess. Especially with the amount of enemies that just jump into the middle of your group and wreck havoc. healing potions usually last one tough fight. Love the small but hilarious moments, that I myself have yet to trigger, but I've seen a streamer try to pick-pocket Shadowhearts panties after freeing her and aggroing her over it and someone yeeted the gnome tied to the windmill into the next town. I also like the freedom in character creation.
  3. I started the slaughter inside the hideout Later I learned that you can recruit the Drow as a Partymember, might have to be an Evil char though. So far there's a serious lack of tanks, I guess the programmers have stats that show people love to play fighters and paladins. So it's the rude green one, Shadowheart and the Vampire (that sure was a telegraphed reveal lol) for me so far.
  4. I'v been stuck in the Goblin hideout for 3 real life days now. So much to do, especially as it has a certain place below.
  5. Kinda same, always play on the PC, but never got into building one from the best components like a true nerd. In any Event, my PC is roughly 5 years old at this point and the game plays okay, but tends to struggle a bit after some time and in areas with many NPCs. It's fine for now, but I've read it will enter the "big city" later and someone playing on HDD like I am discribed that situation as "lagging on dial-up modem level". Was already thinking about upgrading my PC, guess it's really time now. (and hope it's just that and not the GPU as well...)
  6. Hope you have a big SSD, it's almost mandatory for BG3 and the game is like 123 GB big so you're average PC with SSD partition that runs Windows so it boots faster almost certainly won't have enough space for it. Have been playing the past few days and it is a bit of a grind due to loading times for all those rendered cut- and dialogue scenes. Still good, will just have to open my PC this weekend and see if I can squeeze an additional SSD in there. Should be worth investing in one, they are becoming standard for gaming fast. Also I hope you have a tolerance for nudity and gore, the game has both (nudity at least is optional). So far I've seen brains walk around and walked in on a Ogre and her friend having sex in a barn. lol
  7. I don't know about England or Norway, but over here we already hated Saudis when they started pouring their money into English clubs to do this shit indirectly. The "haves" buying the stars doesn't really matter that much, but it continues to inflate and ruin the market on everyone else too.
  8. I don't really disagree with you btw, Hollywood has lost the ability to just let a story end and be done with it. I am just tired of the constant whining about it by channels immediately jumping on blaming "wokism" (and Kathleen Kennedy, because every "religion" needs an Anti-Christ after all) for all the issues. Meanwhile one can see the bland corporatism in all these projects from a mile away, why is Shia LeBoufs character not back for this movie? Cause people hated him and studio reacts to that, why was "Force Awakens" basically a remake of the old Star Wars movies? Because Fans claimed they wanted the old stuff again and hated on the prequels. I haven't seen Star Wars stuff since The last Jedi (outside Boba Fett TV series because my Dad watched it pre-Superbowl) and I don't plan on watching this movie either, I won't give them money for half-assed sequels that were only made to make money. At the same time there's people like a colleague of mine, who really enjoyed all new SW movies, cause he doesn't really care about them much outside of being entertained and while I don't understand it, I guess it's fine.
  9. I feel like at this point only two groups are watching these movies, those that honestly don't care and just want have some light fun and those who want to make an angry Youtube review afterwards.
  10. First season it was possible for me to regularly watch games online and not just one in a blue moon when the stars aligned and german TV decided to show the Rangers instead of the Red Wings was his Rookie season. Cheesy, but the last sports star I really looked up to.
  11. Same. I would have preferred keeping Nylander and Jagr together, remember wanting Drury not necessarily Gomez. Though I also didn't hate the signing initially.
  12. IIRC they also traded several bad contracts which would have ended just one year later, instead they doubled down on bad contracts by getting him. Canucks have been delusional on their Cup chances for years.
  13. Sure did. Next day was even sillier in 2nd Division. HSV won 1-0, but needed help to get promoted directly, so 2nd place Heidenheim was trailing 1-2 till 90th minute, which would have meant HSV getting 2nd place and going up, Heidenheim tieing would still have been enough. So consequently Heidenheim got a PK in the 92nd and then another 10 minutes to score that third goal they needed and moved up to 1st. Some idiot in Sandhausen where HSV was playing gratulated HSV on getting promoted too, so all the fans there tought it was already over and they'd go up. Shades of 2001. Knew better than to hope for anything, nothing good ever happens to this club. They could still make it in the Relegation games against VfB Stuttgart, but 2nd Division teams almost never win those.
  14. For the first time in 11 years there's a chance a different team migth win Bundesliga, BVB 2 points ahead, Bayern in a fight with itself over the way the club should be run, their veteran players sabotaging the coach just like in the good old days. Consequently BVB went down 0-2 against Mainz at home almost immediately and while they still tied in the end, Bayern won on a late goal and wins the league on goals differential tie-breaker, 11th time in a row. Guess after a decade of dominance no one else knows how to win anymore. Even Bayern players were like "yeah, we didn't deserve this" to the press. lol Bayern also sacked it's sporting director and CEO after the game.
  15. So no Playoffs then, just hand the Cup to the Regular season Champion. I wouldn't mind I come from European soccer after all, I just don't think it will happen since it's not how leagues in the US do this stuff.
  16. It's a great place to be in. I'd recommend spring or fall for it. Don't go between June and August. Too hot and humid.
  17. Kind of a pity, any other Franchise probably wins that vote, maybe even the Coyotes would have a decade ago. As much of a vote against the reputation of the Coyotes as anything else. A fresh start in a new city is definitly the way to go for this franchise. Once they inevitably expand again in a decade they can just try Arizona again with proper ownership from the start.
  18. I am all for giving this core another shot with a new coach and system, but I won't hold my breath waiting for it to succeed. So far coaching changes haven't gotten us over the hump since I've been following the team (since about 2000). Neither has going after other teams Stars past their prime or the big free agent signing, St.Louis coming closest to it. Of course that makes Laf and Kakko not developing as fast (or at all) as we'd hope worse. Maybe the stats tell a different story, I am not sure I don't really know how to check, but sure feels like we suck at drafting and developing forwards. There's Kreider and who else in the last decade? All in all I am pretty lost on what the way to go is from here.
  19. Sure, but for some it happens earlier than for others, also depends on the injuries they had.
  20. And Brett Favre looked like an MVP on the Vikings in 2009 and then fell of a cliff in 2010, old and injured players are more likely to regress than return to form. Not sure what the discount would have to be to off-set that risk.
  21. Ok, who is running around here in Tokyo in a Rangers jersey, is it one of you guys?
  22. Someone did the math on Youtube in a comment section, apparently the Panthers have basically the same record as the Leafs in 2023, so if you ignore their slow start this isn't really surprising. (and it's the Leafs so still wouldn't be)
  23. Did anyone else see the "Goal Panthers" graphic going of like 30 seconds before the goal? Some nice conspiracy fuel there. lol
  24. 3rd Period Game 7, when only open murder gets called, maybe.
