Scott
Having broken 6 (non-displaced) in June of 2018, it really comes down to pain tolerance. There's not much risk to anything else. If he's back already and has been skating and even taking low shots I would say his cracked rib was pretty minor. He gives us the best chance to win so that's good, will it work out, only time will tell.
ThirtyONE
Quinn's on a mission. Legacies and ribs be damned. Yes, David Quinn clears players to return from injury.
Sharpshooter
It'd be a nice....rib towards the Devils. :thankyou:
jjweimar
I feel with two firsts players of interest that could be possible. Lundell big dude strong with puck, Amirov really intrigues me. I think Jarvis is too small, dont mind 1st round zary, gunler and maybe Perrault Sent from my Pixel 3a using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
torontonyr
Reminder: this is a fracture. It could be greenline/hairline, or less even. Seems like they were just factual so as to set expectations.
Blue Heaven
Seems premature if the guy had a broken rib from a car wreck. The devils are garbage, I don?t see the point of this. Agreed. Rangers should be able to win this with Lundqvist in net. Give Shesterkin 3 extra days of rest.
CBrowningPI
Rangers are sitting between Isles and Canes, who play each other Saturday. For these last games he'll ride the best goalie right now. That's Igor. Must win games.

Keirik
i think the mission is to make the playoffs and see what happens from there. I don't see the harm in starting him. It's not like a pitching shoulder or something like that where it could be damaged further
SaveByRichter35
Was it ever reported how many ribs were injured? All I recall seeing was "suffered fractured ribs"

LindG1000
https://theathletic.com/1931471/2020/07/15/10-things-were-seeing-at-rangers-camp-so-far/ “I like what I see out of … particularly Kakko,” Quinn said. “I think Kakko has a little bit more of a jump in his step, smiling a little bit more. I think he’s really looking forward to getting the season going again, and we’re going to need him if we’re going to reach our ultimate goal. “I just think he’s a guy that’s going to come back and feel more comfortable and realize what this is going to entail and what it takes. He knows everybody. He’s more comfortable with everybody personally. He’s more comfortable with people professionally. I just think it’s the development of a young, really good hockey player.” Sounds like Kakko's lookin' good! Other notes: Starter likely Shesterkin Panarin and Zibanejad pushing each other hard in practice Fox looks fantastic, Buch looks energized Kravtsov and Hajek looked good in the taxi squad Miller looked nervous, but he's huge and fast and making adjustments
