QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

?When things go bad, we have to do a better job of stopping it...We might go down 1-0 [to Vegas], but what are we going to do about it? Right now, we?re in a feel-sorry-for-ourselves mode. We can?t let that creep in.."

I don?t know what I?m hoping for anymore.

My NYR ticket rep reached out...wants to share with me some ?news? about next season. Let me guess?

1. You can have your choice if any seat - including right on the bench - for $50. There will be plenty to be had.

2. NYR will be offering the ?standard cold beer? for $22/cup but you can get the new ?fan friendly? warm beer for $3.

3. Every game comes with a crying towel.

4. MSG will turn off the lights during the second intermission whenever we are losing by 3 or more goals so that remaining fans can participate in or Guinness Book record for largest gathering circle-jerk. (Lube will Be provided by new sponsor PENNzoil.)

5. New ?Ugly Girl Cam? will fly around the arena.

6. T-shirt toss will be replaced by wet t-shirt contest in each seating section.

7. New ?Price-is-Right? feature for those participating in #4 above. Following clean-up, ?Come on down!? to the lower bowel and enjoy a closer view of the third period.

They have the right idea with the Jagermeister spot on the ice...I'm hoping they go full bore and add Jack Daniels really soon!! It helps me!!!

Rangers will come out flying, and have a 2-1 lead after the first.

They'll play a lackadaisical 2nd, still be up by 1, and somehow convince me to stay up for the third.

They'll give up a goal early in third.

They'll regain the lead minutes later, only to give up a goal on the next shift.

They'll be down by 2 at 3:45 left in the third, and I'll convince myself to go to bed.
