I liked him. Replaceable, but I liked him. Hope he clears and gets to Hartford. Would be a good insurance piece in the playoffs incase we deal with injuries to whoever is here at that time and in the bottom-6.

So Edstrom stays?

Would appear so.  Rempe was sent back down.  I wanted them to give Rempe at least a 1 game look.  He would definitely add some toughness to the team.

Pitlick really should at best be the 13th forward.    Need at least a little bit of scoring on the 4th line.  He offers just about none.

Brodzinski will be occupying that spot at some point methinks.

If he continues to put up points he's going to stay the 3rd line center at least the rest of this year.

Eh...If he's the 3C after the deadline it's because prices were too high, not because the team is comfortable with that, IMO.

Why replace what you already have with something more expensive. Is my wife running this team?!?!

Edstrom looks like he very well could be a solution.  I liked Pitlick too, but he's very replaceable, and I still hope to see him to clear waivers....Just in case

Market is gonna dictate where Brodz is at.

There I think relatively comfortable with him at the 3C. But if they can find an upgrade at a reasonable price, then I think they’d absolutely love him as 4RW.

Splurge for a really good top 6 RW with term.

Get a cheaper depth C (e.g., Wennberg, Dowd).

That would be my deadline.

But what it’s going to be is Adam Henrique.

Wennberg — Ew.

Dowd — OK.

Henrique — Fucking puke.

Me either but he’s out scored all their other 3rd and 4th line centers  combined in the last week.

Unfortunately in the playoffs, every other player is going to have two eyes.

I like what he’s been doing lately. He’s got until the trade deadline to prove he can sustain

Especially if you had the cart before the horse.

I think the operative point here is that:

If he stays there then that’s a certain level of comfortability.

But we’d all be more comfortable with an affordable upgrade and Brodz as the RW on line 4.
