If you know the Rangers are going to lose tonight, you can take the rest of the night off, get laid, or do something else you enjoy.  I've done that with other teams on other nights - and sometimes I was wrong when I gave up and my team came back. Suffering/wallowing for 2 and a half hours to be 'right' doesn't make you a better fan.  You can hope, root, switch spots on the couch, post weird GIF and know that the Rangers are right in this and can be heading back to MSG with a chance to eliminate the Devils.  It's right there.

The Rangers whiffed on four top-ten picks. Thankfully, two of them are long gone already. If I were running the team, a third would join them this summer.
