The refs sucked, but can't win games by scoring one ES goal in 9 periods of hockey. Will probably be 12 after next game.

 

We had it in the bag halfway through game 3. Then Trouba fucked it up. After that it's been fuck up after fuck up. Stupid penalties, missed open nets, missed easy zone clearences. They looked rattled after game 3. Like they realized what they just blew and the pressure finally got to them.

 

It's obviously not over, but it feels over. Nothings working at the moment and Tampa just scores timely goal after timely goal and gets all the calls.

Rough game from the refs really, but at least the effort was there. Problem is the conviction is not. Kreider and goodrow somehow not blocking those shots. Strome with the wide open net miss. Those are three alternate captains. Not good enough and it’s another game we don’t deserve to win.

 

carolina series was different. We deserved to win at least one of the games we lost. Tampa has deserved their three straight and we have been second best again.
