Kreider - Zibanejad - Vatrano

Panarin - Strome - Copp

Lafreniere - Chytil - Kakko

Goodrow - Motte - Hunt

Lindgren-Fox

Miller-Trouba

Nemeth-Schneider

Rooney, Reaves, Brodzinski, Braun, McKegg, Gauthier, Hajek all scratched, and likely in that order to come back into the lineup as needed.

What my lineup would look like, and what I would expect Gallant's to look like, is probably different. As of this moment, mine would look like:

Kreider - Zibanejad - Vatrano

Panarin - Strome - Copp

Lafreniere - Chytil - Goodrow

Motte - Brodz - Hunt

Lindgren - Fox

Miller - Trouba

Z. Jones - Schneider

Scratched: Kakko, Rooney, Reaves, Gauthier, McKegg, Nemeth, Braun, Hajek

Most notable scratch being Kakko. He has a lot of work to do to earn a spot in my lineup. No more red carpet treatment. No more forced into top 6 where production is lacking and Vatrano/Copp look and produce infinitely more. Don't care about him "getting an experience" here. Time to try and win.

Second most notable scratch is Rooney. Brodz has looked like a faster and more effective forechecker than Rooney ever has. Rooney's major pro has been PKing, but we've got that covered now. Brodz is better 5 on 5 IMO.

I don't expect Z Jones to play at all, but he's who I would be playing right now before the playoffs. I don't like Nemeth and I don't like what I've seen from Braun in limited time. Z Jones has a better game and should be playing.

Have a feeling the line up from the article is what they are going to go with.

Not that I would go with it.

I would go with Ozzy's line up unless Chytil is willing to play wing.

Yup...sitting Chytil and Hunt.

I LOVE that 3rd and 4th line!!!  Rooney and Copp make us a really decent face off team!!  When was the last time we could say that???

Have a feeling Chytil won't be sitting though.

Especially since Lafraniere and Chytil seem to be clicking together.

Personally I would sit Chytil. He's just not gonna get it done as a 3C in the playoffs.

Kreider - Zib - Vatrano

Panarin - Strome - Copp

Laf - Goodrow - Kakko

Motte - Rooney - Hunt

Lindgren - Fox

Miller - Trouba

Braun - Schneider

Can switch Copp and Goodrow if needed, but I think we need one of them as the 3C if we want to make some noise in the playoffs.

Agree with this 100%, and it's not even a tough decision in my mind.

I'd play you over Reaves in the playoffs. At least you would be useful passed out on the ice blocking shots.

I've probably got Lafreniere and Kakko too high in the lineup.   I've got a feeling Gallant is going to lean on the veterans and give them more ice time.

I don't have the scoring prowess I used to!!! LOL

I bet I still have better hands than Gauthier though!!

I have the benefit of doing this now knowing Motte is out long term.  Mine would be

Kreider---Zibanejad---Vatrano

Panarin---Strome---Copp

Lafreniere---Goodrow---Kakko

Brodzinsky---Rooney---Hunt

Lindgren---Fox

Miller---Trouba

Braun---Schneider

Shesterkin

where is Chytil?

Ignoring the drama around the Kravtsov situation, how sick would this be if Krav comes in before playoffs and looks good?

Kreider - Zibanejad - Vatrano
Panarin - Strome - Kakko

Lafreniere - Chytil - Kravtsov
Copp - Rooney - Goodrow

I just think it would be sick for THAT to be your 4th line. Although, if Laf, Chytil, and Krav all just kinda suck, then never mind and we just go with something close to what we've had with Goodrow probably on the 4th or Chytil sitting

It's been on my mind.

Kreider-Zibanejad-Vatrano

Panarin-Strome-Kravtsov

Lafreniere-Copp-Goodrow

Hunt-Rooney-Kakko

Chytil

Motte IR

Reaves

Traktor loses today, they're out.

If he's back, it's this. Kakko is trash. Though I think they'd try him on that Lafrenière-Goodrow line before going here.

I agree, I don't think they'd start with what I posted, in fact, it's like a 1% chance we see that, but that's balanced as it could possibly be. Kravtsov is, by all accounts, a responsible player, like Kakko, but he can shoot, and there's some reason to believe he raises his game in the playoffs.

Kakko could also be that guy, for other reasons, but he's going to be hard pressed to get to full speed.

It's still insane to me they just threw him into an NHL lineup after a single practice after missing half a season.

Yup and Traktor just lost so I'm excited to see if they bring him in. Hope they do because the depth would be insane.
