We should probably use a bigger minus for things like LTI and re-signing with teams.

Also wonder if we should explore adding guys in the middle, rather than the bottom - so hard to get guys moved up/down many slots. If we did it in the middle, there would be more movement with those middle guys. Now, theres about 100 moves that should be made.

I'd suggest either an increase to three moves per day or the ability to outright removed players like I suggested a few weeks ago.

Honestly, maybe both?

If a player is on LTIR, I think we just treat them like we do players on IR for the Interactive Power Rankings. Remove them and note it with an updated list.

@josh — we should maybe enable a removal here to kill guys like Greenway and McNabb entirely given they signed extensions. The likelihood either is traded is incredibly low.

Maybe reset the list? What do you think about -

someone can reorder the currently listed players.

Everyone gets 3 moves per day.

Players traded, moved to LTIR, or re-signed, or utilizing NTC (verbalized/proof) can be given a -5, and that will count as 1 move.

As in any user can? That defeats the interaction. It'll be a random list every day, every post.

I still think the simplest solution is to simply remove LTIR or re-signed players and increase to three moves per day.

Still don’t think adding players at the bottom helps. If a name comes up, we wouldn’t have enough time to move them up

With three moves each? Sure we would. Four users bumping one player would put them in the top-10 in a single day. Even easier if we eliminate names on LTIR and those who re-signed.

+3 and removing re-signs would make this list look like this:

Spoiler

1. J.T. Miller
2. Claude Giroux
3. Joe Pavelski
4. Paul Stastny
5. Colin Miller
6. Jaroslav Halak
7. Jay Beagle
8. Braden Holtby
9. Nino Neiderreiter
10. Bo Horvat
11. Mark Giordano
12. Tomas Hertl
13. Mark Scheifele
14. Antoine Roussel
15. Chris Tierney
16. Jonathan Toews
17. Artturi Lehkonen
18. Andrew Copp
19. Ben Chiarot
20. Rickard Rakell
21. Vladislav Namestinkov

If you want to encourage even more movement, don't count against the +3. Every user can add one name per post, but get 3 pure movement options to use to move players up and down.

Anyone make a move for clutterbuck here as a rental? With the isles shitting the bed he has to be available and is the type of player you'd want in the playoffs in your bottom six. Probably comes cheap and is an NHL caliber player unlike our bottom six of AHL guys.

I wouldn't, I believe he only plays right wing and he's no better than a 4th line guy so he's not going to play in front of Reaves.  I guess if we're looking at anybody but McKegg he might fit but I'm hoping they make enough moves above to knock others down to sit McKegg anyway. Although GG love for McKegg seems to run strong and he doesn't seem to have a problem playing with him. Ideally I would prefer Goodrow, Rooney, Reaves and focus on all the turds above the 4th line.

@josh — let's make a judgement call on this. Pavelski just re-signed. That's three players we should be removing. This, plus a third movement option enough on changes?

• I will provide the initial power rankings based on the opening night roster.

This season, each poster will be able to make 3 (THREE) moves  in which you can move a single player up or down 2 (TWO) slots, or move 2 players 1 slot each once a day. (Previously: You may make additional moves after 3 posts by different users OR 3 days have past.)

• Adding players - you may add players of your choice. Any added player is entered at the bottom. Adding a player counts a 1 move. (you can move that player up with a second move)

Players who re-sign will be removed from the list and the list re-ordered with players ranked below those players moving up.

Making the bolded, red adjustments, everyone. It's updated in the OP, so feel free to begin using three moves.

Updated list below:

1. J.T. Miller

2. Claude Giroux

3. Paul Stastny

4. Colin Miller

5. Jaroslav Halak

6. Braden Holtby

7. Nino Neiderreiter

8. Bo Horvat

9. Jay Beagle -3

10. Mark Giordano

11. Tomas Hertl

12. Mark Scheifele

15. Jonathan Toews

16. Artturi Lehkonen

17. Andrew Copp

18. Ben Chiarot

19. Rickard Rakell

20. Vladislav Namestinkov

Removed: 3. Joe Pavelski (re-signed Mar. 11, 2022), 14. Jordan Greenway (re-signed Jan. 31, 2022), 19. Brayden McNabb (Jan. 30, 2022)
