They're probably being paid to do so. It's odd that a recently acquired McCann is being exposed so they're likely doing something to protect him by offering something to select Kerfoot in his stead.

Seeing on Twitter that Seattle passed on both Price and Tarasenko. Not too surprised with Price, though the drama there would have been hysterical. Little surprised on Tarasenko. Seravelli is reporting that they may pick Vince Dunn from the Blues. Leaves open the possibility that, with rumors around Buchnevich and St. Louis being mentioned as a potential spot, if there is anything there that could see the Rangers and Blues involved in a deal somewhere down the line.
