Very good deal for Edmonton, and for RNH. If they feel the need to move him down the line and he waived his NMC, that cap hit is super friendly. He will age well.

Yeah, this is a template for sure to suggest that term and security will come at the expense of AAV.

Well, he's not the kind of guy the Rangers need, so it's fine not to like him. It's really not that important, though — how this affects the market is.

nah you're not alone. He gets a solid meh from me especially for a #1. If the deal helps us great. The term imo isn't ideal, I would lean towards he's bought out before seeing the end of it.
