QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

"Especially me over the last two weeks, I got to see him a lot in practice and how he’s working and staying sharp. He got a chance to get in there, and he made some big saves for us and definitely kept us in that game as long as he could. He made some huge saves and it’s good to see out of him, seeing how hard he works and knowing the kind of guy he is. It’s positive for everyone to see."

I'm betting Kinky starts tonight.....

How about a Kakko night tonight??? ...I'd also like to see a strong CK1 showing.

You'd be correct.

Good to see the Kinky boy getting the start! Seriously though, I don't think Quinn had much of a choice after the abysmal performance by Georgiev in the last game. This gives him a chance to regroup and also see if the team can rally around Kinky and come up with a better defensive performance to get the W.

Yes, love the nickname!! I couldn't remember who came up with it! I'll always root for him...he's a local boy! :thumbs:

How 'bout a shutout tonight??? LOL

Kinky is hungry to prove himself and that's a very good thing. I'm hoping he can run the table until we get a healthy Shesty back between the pipes - and then Shesty needs to play every game from here to the end. He needs to show that he's healthy enough to be our #1 going forward and he needs to show #1 skill to be our main goalie going forward. This is a big year for Shesty and probably more so than for anyone else on the team.

Somehow, Kinkaid is the first ever NYC-born Rangers goalie to start a game.

That feels almost impossible, but here we are.

Let's fuckin avenge Sunday.

I see trivia question here "Who was the first NYC born player to ever play for the Rangers?"
