I just watched the highlight of the hit on Marleau:

 

It didn't seem too bad to me. Kadri overreacted.

 

Debrusk also kneed kadri earlier on that play. Should have been a penalty too. But yea Kadri over reacted. As a matter of fact a stick to the head is a terrible play no matter what the situation.

I don't disagree. I've heard a few people (Ron Maclean, someone on TSN, maybe someone on hockey central at noon) talk about the hit on Marleau. I think it was bad because of the collision Marleau makes with the glass. That's the turnbuckle where it starts to curve.

 

Not nearly as bad as the Chara on Pacioretty hit, but similar in nature.

Yes, and it's a perfect way to mitigate the situation.

It can be anywhere from three to five games, and it prevents anyone on the Bruins from targeting him.

You'll note that last night's game wasn't as chippy and no one really went after Debrusk.
