Kevin Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 I'm going with the same. Think this will be the best of the opening round series.
Morphinity 2.0 Posted April 9, 2019 Author Posted April 9, 2019 I've got the Leafs in 6. The Leafs offense is DEEEEEEEP. They should be able to make hay while the Bruins 3rd D pair is out (home ice is huge this series) and use their speed to try to make life difficult for Chara. Then there's goaltending. If Andersen is good, they're definitely in this series. But Andersen needs to be the guy to make up for the Leafs' defensive shortcomings.
Phil Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Problem is, Andersen is a fuckin' basketcase. I'm going Bs in 7 because Michelin Man.
Gravesy Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 It's going to be tight, but I think the B's are just too tough for the Leafs and will bully them out of this series in the end.
Stephen Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 I say B’s in 7. Boston in six. Andersen along with that defense has not proved to me throughout the season that this is a team that can push a series to seven games
phillyb Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 "GLG" - Phillyb GLG! I def picked Boston in my bracket, but I'm rootin hard for the kids. I think Mitch Marner is my fav player in the league right now. GLG! QFT! GLG! What a great way to take the first game in this series, took home ice away from Boston in the first game.
paddynyc Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Great moves by Marner on the penalty shot. GLG !!!!
Dunny Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 Rask is brutal. Halak can get scorching hot. Start Halak. Also, run Andersson. He'll cry and go for therapy.
Dunny Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Kadri finally loses cool after teetering all game. Another suspension?
Phil Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Kadri finally loses cool after teetering all game. Another suspension? Cross-check to the head. 100% getting suspended. Was just given a game misconduct, too.
Phil Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Five games is my guess. He was given three in the playoffs last year for the hit on Wingels.
BrooksBurner Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Kadri's a piece of shit. They should suspend him the rest of the season for that garbage.
Dunny Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Kadri was the only skater who showed up. It's only not 9-1 due to Andersson.
Dunny Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Matthews was total non factor, too. Another bad playoff from him and people will start talking..
