phillyb Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 When filling out my bracket yesterday, I had a repeat of NSH/PIT in the finals with PIT doing a three-peat. Then I thought about it more and really thought about the match-ups. This series has "upset" written all over it.
Morphinity 2.0 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Pens in 6 due to rivalry. Penguins are a better team from top to bottom. But rivals always step up to play one another.
Parsley Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Hate the Flyers, but I think they can upset here. They could be the dark horse in the EAST. They always play the Pens tough. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Phil Posted April 11, 2018 Author Posted April 11, 2018 I'm going Pens in six, but I'm hoping this is a war of attrition that goes the full stretch with multiple overtime games.
Stephen Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Hate the Flyers, but I think they can upset here. They could be the dark horse in the EAST. They always play the Pens tough. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk But the Flyers had some problems with no consistency throughout the year, and Hakstol continues to play old, terrible veterans instead of his young, hungry players that have been dreaming of going to the playoffs. Penguins in 5 or 6, but will be very close due to the rivarly
AliveIn94 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Flyers down early in Game 1. Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

Stephen Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Anyone remember the time when the Flyers gooned their way to two straight Stanley Cups? I wasn't even born yet
fletch Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 when was the last time goalie was not a fatal weakness for the flyers? hextall?
Long live the King Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Wowzer Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Phil Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 Jesus just waive the white flag, Flyers. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Karan Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Terrible defensive effort by PHI tonight. This series is far from over though. PHI is fully capable of bouncing back with 2 straight wins. PIT has been wildly inconsistent this year.
paddynyc Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 when was the last time goalie was not a fatal weakness for the flyers? hextall? Pelle Lindberg and people complain about Hank I'm the Flyers wouldn't mind having him in the net.
NY Chief Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Anyone remember the time when the Flyers gooned their way to two straight Stanley Cups? I wasn't even born yet I was around and HATED those MF'rs!!!!! It was great to watch Islander big guy Clark Gilles finally hand Dave "the Hammer" Schultz the beatin he long deserved. Was never the same after that.
fletch Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Pelle Lindberg and people complain about Hank I'm the Flyers wouldn't mind having him in the net. I was trying to come up with what the Flyers would offer to trade for Lundqvist but I stopped because it made my brain hurt.
AliveIn94 Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 I have to give them credit, but can they keep it up? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
phillyb Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 4-0 Pens. Crosby is amazing. Pens are so fucking good, it's crazy.
Stephen Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 The Pens just dominated today in Game 3. This shows the Flyers are inconsistent throughout the season and now in the Stanley Cup Playoffs
