How can they, it takes them 20 seconds to move the puck past center ice. They play zig zag retrace their steps safe rushes. It allows Boston to have 5 guys back and setup each time.

 

Meanwhile the Bruins rush the puck with urgency, even moving diagonally, they still gain the zone quick and present positioning issues almost every shift.
