We?re losing too much, guys are out, but there?s only one way to turn it around ? you have to start with yourself. It?s a tough time for us here, but there is no point in looking around the room and try to find excuses. Just start with ourselves and see what we can bring to table to make this team better.? Giacomin
Dallas played one of the best games I've seen all year, against us. It turned around their season and they have looked awesome since. If they don't take us lightly tonight, they could run us out of the building.
Giacomin
Or tonight serves as the road warrior game that turns our season around. Nash and Grabner will get the key points. Actually, win or lose, Nash and Grabs will be the only forwards to threaten to score.
Giacomin
Dunny says we should be scouting Honka tonight. Or elbowing him in the jaw, can't remeber which.

josh
Is Vesey playing? He didnt practice this morning due to a concussion, according to 1 reliable source on twitter (NYR or Zipay) Staal also missed practice with some made up ailment meaning concussion. Giacomin
Forget buyout. Staal needs to retire. Injury list, whatever. Hey Staal, Dolan has a job for you if you retire early and keep your brain from being too fogged. No point in risking your faculties, you got lots o dough. ThirtyONE
At what point do we stop trotting out Holland and Desarnais over Chytil and Andersson? What's the point? Lineup is one of the worst I've seen in the Lundqvist era.
Ozzy
8:30pm start in this one... Sure cure for any insomniacs out there. Looking forward to seeing Lettieri back in there though, so at least I'll have something to root for.

Lineup is one of the worst I've seen in the Lundqvist era. Assuming we suck the rest of the way, I don't see either getting more than a handful of games to finish the year. I get the impression they want to give them time to develop in the AHL and not rush them just because we need them. The season will be done, IMO give them a little taste to end the year, show them what it takes to be an NHL player week in week out, and make them hungry to come back next year. At this point in time the line up serves to help us get a better draft ranking, but I do agree it is probably the worst I have seen post lockout 04/05. josh
CapFriendly has a page dedicated to ELC slide. Lists all players on ELC that are eligible to slide. https://www.capfriendly.com/slides/2018 If a player who is signed to an entry-level contract and is 18 or 19 years of age (as of September 15 of the signing year), does not play in a minimum of 10 NHL games (including both regular season and playoffs; AHL games do not count), their contract is considered to ‘slide’, or extend, by one year. Rangers have Day, Gettinger, Lias and Chytil (2 gp) signed and eligible

Yeah, Probably because it's on the NHL network. Do you get nhl network? Or, can you check the guide for it? I don't have center ice so I can't check to see if it's the same for all, sorry.
