So what you do with the puck is really important. Just have to compete, win battles on the wall, all those things that allow you to have the puck, play in their end, and get scoring chances yourself. We have to respond.”

– Marc Staal on playing the Leafs
phillyb Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Where the fuck is Kevin Hayes and his vagina injury?
Morphinity 2.0 Posted February 1, 2018 Author Posted February 1, 2018 Mannn idk, I didn't get to the rags lineup yet
Future Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Where the fuck is Kevin Hayes and his vagina injury? Well he's back in the lineup sooo....guess the rash is gone.
Future Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I can't fathom why McLeod is in the lineup over Carey. I guess AV really does believe in fighting as a spark...or something?
phillyb Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 And then will encourage the player never to do it again.
paddynyc Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Lets Go Rangers !!!! Finally, get to see a live game after almost 2 weeks.
josh Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I can't fathom why McLeod is in the lineup over Carey. I guess AV really does believe in fighting as a spark...or something? It's impossible to deny that the team lacks balls.

Ozzy Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Where the fuck is Kevin Hayes and his vagina injury? Minor surgery: Impacted TamPax...
Giacomin Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 And Matt Martin is a healthy scratch and will probably be benched for a while after Babcock talked to him about needing more skill in the lineup at this time. They are going in the opposite direction.
Long live the King Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Wearing the Winter Classic sweaters tonight...
Dunny Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 If you don't expect them to lose by at least four goals tonight you haven't been paying attention. A win is great, I'd love a win, but if you're going to lose it better be bad so we can begin to get on with some kind of restructuring.
Future Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 It's impossible to deny that the team lacks balls. Adding a pilon into the lineup for 10:00 a night against maybe the fastest team in the league accomplishes what, exactly? More PIM? Not only are you making one of your spots worse by adding in a terrible player, you're impacting his linemates, specifically Vesey, who has been one of the Rangers' better forwards over the last few weeks. How is he supposed to do anything playing with DD and McLeod?
josh Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Adding a pilon into the lineup for 10:00 a night against maybe the fastest team in the league accomplishes what, exactly? More PIM? Well, getting a body on the man is the most effective way to slow a player down. He's not meant to be THE difference maker... I hope people understand that. He's here to bring something to the table, the team does not have. And sometimes, that helps re-energize and re-focus players.
Parsley Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Definitely expect to be outshot like 46 to 22. (They put up 50 on the Isles) That?s a recipe for disaster as usual. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

I hope people understand that. He's here to bring something to the table, the team does not have. And sometimes, that helps re-energize and re-focus players. He is not a good enough skater to get a body on anyone in a time that it makes any difference. Glass was a decent skater and he couldn't give the effort required to make any sort of impact for more than 2-3 games at a time. Re-focus works for like a game or two. We saw it with Glass last year.
josh Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 So Tanner Glass wasnt successful... so, lets never try to get a physical player again. shut up about Tanner glass, fucking A. He's gone, get over it.
ThirtyONE Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 McLeod will likely stand out tonight and then immediately fade away for the rest of the season. I’d like to lose the dead weight already so we don’t have to see bums like him playing over Lettieri.
Phil Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Fourth place! Fourth place! Fourth place! Fourth place!
Rangers4Life Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Toronto played last night, had to travel and backup starting. Rangers coming off a long all-star break. Recipe for disaster.
josh Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Toronto played last night, had to travel and backup starting. Rangers coming off a long all-star break. Recipe for disaster. That's last years team. This team will win in OT, then not show up for the next 3 games.
josh Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Fourth place! Fourth place! Fourth place! Fourth place!
fletch Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Start of a pivotal 6 game stretch against tough competition. Good measuring stick for where this team is.
