Myusername
True, but there are many other ways to escape that don't involve dealing with defeat and frustration on a regular basis
SaveByRichter35
If you think about it's kind of funny how big of a factor sports play in some peoples lives. Basing your happiness on how a bunch of players you don't personally know, who are not (except for the rare occassion) from your city/town/state perform against a bunch of players on the other team that fit the same description. Not to mention all the thousands of hours wasted watching. It's almost like gambling, but except currency it's your pride at stake (well, assuming you don't bet on it). And for the vast majority they end up losing and being miserable. We really are irrational beings Ain't life a bitch? lol
LONG LONG LONG TIME FAN
Oh well. It sure was an exciting series & final game 7. My choice was Canada vs. USA. However, we now have an all USA series with easy travel. I'm hoping for an exciting 7 game series featuring all the competing players have to offer. And yes, hockey fans world wide get once again, to see one of the most elite players the NHL has to offer. And yes, the awful officiating is gonna rear it's ugly head. And most assuredly there will many, many, many
