paddynyc Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 Preds scored that goal and held on for dear life.
Karan Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 FINALLY! They were sinking me in my playoff pool this year. Hard to imagine how a team as dominant as this year's Hawks could get shutout for over 7 periods. Just goes to show you how deadly playoff matchups can be.
Phil Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Forsberg! Tie game! Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk
Edited Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Tough break for the Hawks, Nashville up 3-0, seems like another first round exit is imminent for them.
Karan Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Holy fuck...NSH puts CHI on the brink with an OT win. Wow.
phillyb Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 This series has surprised me a lot. Haven't really watched the games, but has NSH been dominating? Has CHI been bad?
I am Scags Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 As much as I like to see Nashville doing so well, I thought going Chicago was the one team that could make the Final and could beat the Penguins. Now once again the Pens could potentially have an easy path to the Cup :(
Karan Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 I had CHI picked to go all the way to the SCF. Unreal how NSH completely takes apart one of the strongest teams of the season and a playoff juggernaut. Respect.
I am Scags Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Yea I think most people did, if not for anything because it was an odd year and they were likely due for another run because they are just too good not to go another one. Much credit to Nashville, they're going for it, and hey you never know. We saw the Kings come out of nowhere in 2012 and look what happened. The NHL is the one league where really anyone in the 16 has a shot

I am Scags Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Just thinking of this makes me want to :puke: I can't see them not winning again this season. Ugh it's so disheartening to think about, and to think only 2 years ago we were almost ready to start writing off Cindy and the Pens
AliveIn94 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Yea I think most people did, if not for anything because it was an odd year and they were likely due for another run because they are just too good not to go another one. Edited Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Wow, I bet on the Hawks thinking no way would a team like this let themselves get swept, and they did. Two straight first round exits for the Blackhawks now.
Blue Heaven Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 At least I picked NSH in the bracket challenge, picked them in 7 though.
Phil Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Fuuuuuuuuuuuck Chicago. I'm glad they're done. New storylines, yo!
Morphinity 2.0 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Insane they got swept, but I'm excited for new storylines too. Just as long as it's new on the East side too.
phillyb Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 What a fucking series. I didn't watch most of it, but I think NSH Dominated (with a capital D) for the most part. I'm a little annoyed that Rinne didn't get the shutout last night and I'm even more annoyed that the goal came from Toews and not someone like Tootoo or TVR. lol
Karan Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Thanks a lot CHI for completely ruining my playoff pool chances this year, fucking chumps.
BlairBettsBlocksEverything Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 The Nashville crowd is fucking brutal lol https://streamable.com/vjrxr "HE SHOOTS! HE SCORES! YOU SUCK! CRAWFORD! CRAWFORD! CRAWFORD! YOU SUCK! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!"
