This technological innovation coincides with the start of Virgin Atlantic Airways’ first ever domestic service to Scotland. http://www.virgin.com/richard-branson/virgin-atlantic-launches-worlds-first-ever-glass-bottomed-plane
I am Scags Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Alright, now granted I'm not a gimmicks person, but THAT is some fuckin cool shit! Where they will re position a good portion of the cargo and luggage bays to I don't know, but for someone who likes to fly and is into flight and aeronautics that is cool!

L'albatros Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Would be cool tho. I'd shit my pants as well
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I'd be ecstatic to ride something like that. Too bad it's not real.
Jules Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 There are helicopters with glass floors. It's spookier than I thought it would be. http://i.imgur.com/DNiMLdG.jpg
Dunny Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Just go to the glass floor of the CN Tower. It's creepy. Not a fan of heights.

I hate heights but I'm a huge fan of flying and I'd skydive right now if I had the cash. It's weird but those kind of heights I guess are so controlled that I'm totally okay with it.
Jules Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 There's always rides like this. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/art/news/bgw-griffon.jpg
Fuhgeddaboudit Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 ^ that ride looks amazing By the way, nothing beat that Harry Potter ride in Islands of Adventure...what a fantastic ride. I was blown away
Jules Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 ^ that ride looks amazing It's called Griffon and you can find it in Busch Gardens Williams in Virginia. I actually got stuck on it, lights came on and saw a lot of how the ride operates. Kind of ruined the ride, but I love how they did it.
Jules Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Damn, I was there as a kid but I was afraid of coasters. The park doubled in size since you were little, probably. The top rides at Busch Gardens Williamsburg have been built in the last 4-5 years.

CreaseCrusader91 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Just go to the glass floor of the CN Tower. It's creepy. Not a fan of heights. Agreed. It was pretty freaky.
NYRangers92 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Sears tower has a glass floor thing too. It's not scary if you are fine with heights but it's still very unsettling
