Fuhgeddaboudit
Guys, I need help. I want to watch some classics, and maybe some movies I've missed. I've never seen the godfather movies, never seen Blow, never seen any of these "bad-ass" movies. It's tough looking around on Netflix for any good movies, and I want to throw some movies on my DVD queue besides the new stuff that are coming soon on Netflix. Also, if anyone knows any "deep" movies (like classic Inception movies), then that would be even better.
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
Friends of Eddie Coyle, Serpico, For a Few Dollars More. Great starting 3 that are available pretty easily.
Fuhgeddaboudit
Bah, I hate westerns, that's my only problem. I'll add Serpico to my list though, and I'll check out the first one.
Dave
When you say classics, before what year? I don't want to recommend stuff like Silence of the Lams, The Shinning or Shawshank Redemption if you mean older movies than that.

I'm only 21 so I might have missed a lot of great movies before the year 2000. I know those necessarily aren't "classics" but anything older than that would be awesome. I've seen all of those movies you've listed though, and they were spectacular.

For a Few Dollars more doesn't out like a traditional western, hell none of Leone's westerns do. It's worth seeing, don't close yourself off to a genre based on preconceived notions. Weird, when I checked it on IMDB, it said Language: Italian. Weird... lol
Rizz GAWD Lav No Cap FrFr
They were all originally released in Italy first, so that language dub takes first language on credits. Westerns are not a dime a dozen, they have as much depth as any other genre and you owe it to yourself if you are serious about movies to watch the dollars trilogy, even if you end up hating it. I'll definitely try them out then and see what they are like. Adding them on Netflix once I get the chance. Their site is down for maintenance. Read my mind. I saw a few of them, but the others I am interested in. Thanks a lot.

A couple of more to add to this is The Doors, Full Metal jacket, Saving Private Ryan, A Clockwork Orange, Reservoir Dogs, A Bronx Tail, Tommy Boy and As Good As It Gets. Im sure there are others as well that I cant think of at this point.

As I said, Starship Troopers, you either love or you hate. Definately a political statement that you get kind of beat over the head with, and there is a good amount of cheese as well.
