[tsn] Marner Watch 2019

We sign star players and people are complaining about maybe not being able to replace the Dorsett's and Stralman's 4 years from now? -
100% agree with this.

If Kravtsov and Kakko earn themself those contracts there would be no need for Buch (saved 6m), Smith is obviously gone (saved 4.5m), DeAngelo at 6,6m is a big lol. Georgiev at 5,6m is also never happening (unless he goes off and Shesty busts, but then we wont pay him 2,8m). One of Chytil, Lias and Howden will be traded if they all "work out". That roster is paying the 3rd line 6m, 3.6m and 4.5m, that is never happening. There will be 3/4th liners at ELC contracts or cheap UFA signings. Like seriously, there is no cap problems here.

Yeah, and if you compare Hedman from 3 years ago to today's Trouba they are pretty much the same. And with the increased cap Hedman's contract was actually bigger. Looks like we made a good deal :) Lets hope Trouba also takes the next step AFTER signing his contract too. Then the contract will be amazing in 3 years.

Cant someone of you guys living in NY go and find Smith and break his legs? Dont even think he would be mad. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk -
The reilly and Mcdonagh comparisons doesnt make sense at all. Im not sure what unrealistic hopes you have if you dont like this. Both the trade to aquire him (got rid of Pionk ffs) and the contract (he would get atleast 9 mill as a ufa, probably more) and he?s signed years 25-32. Could have saved 0,5m, but its still a really solid contract. Sent from my iPhone using Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

3rd most points by a D under 25 with lesser PP time than most of the others. Signing him for his entire prime years (25-32). 7,5 or 8m, dont really care. We signed a really good player for a long time (the 2nd one this off-season), I dont really understand how people can complain about this.
