If they win game 7 it will be somewhere between 29-31 (depending on if they win the cup/loses final/loses WCF). If they lose game 7 I think it will be somwhere between 56-58, but Im not sure. Will be a late 2nd atleast.

I have no idea how you can focus so much on Lias. We have chytil, kravtsov, kakko/hughes, miller, Lundkvist, shesterkin and many more good prospects and picks. So far all our picks since 2016 looks really good except Lias and thats the one you focus on. With all the talent coming in now, if Lias can turn into a solid 3rd/4th line C that can PK its fine. But we?re making a shit ton of picks. If we have the chance to trade two for a very good prospect who has much more than 20% chance of being a NHL player, you do it. There?s no guarantee he would come here next year anyway, even if all the rumours says so. And they probably felt one year in the NHL with the team is better for his development then another year in hartford. I think people here read too much into rumours. some here talking like he already had signed with rangers to come here next season. A lot can chance in one year. There was no guarantee he would sign for rangers next year. We got a better player than we possibly could with the 37th OA pick this year and we fill a hole we have on RHD. It most likely would?ve been our 4th selection this year too, so its no big deal. Now we got a player we want and need who can come over and play right away. A D selected at #37 would be 3-4(?) years away. Feels weird to say it, but I?ve been positive about every trade we?ve done since the Stepan trade. Lets say Colorado won the 2nd pick and Nashville gave them the same offer. Colorado already got their star(s) and could really use the depth and quantity they get back in this trade.
