Ofcourse I've seen nasty plays before, but you made it sound ok to slam a player like that just because Panarin grabbed his back to make him stop punching the guy with his head on the ice.

Punching a guy laying on the ice from behind has never been a "hockey play". Neither has throwing people without a helmet head first to ice with full force. I dont see how that's so hard to understand.

I see hockey players grab someone from behind to drag them away from a teammate every game. Never have I seen anyone respond to that by punching the guys helmet off and then judo throw him head first to the ice. Never. Panarin probably saved his career by landing on the shoulder first.

Im guessing Strome. He's been good and I dont really want to start this conversation again, but Zib and Strome as 1-2 is incredibly soft. Other than that and getting some grit on the 4th line, I think it will be fine. They're not really "gritty" players, but Kakko, Lafreniere and Kravtsov are all skilled players that can use the body well and play physical, but they're all still kids. Give them 1-3 years and I think they're all gonna be fine. Then they need to get Kreider's head out of his ass and force him to play a tougher game as a 3rd liner.

Atleast they'll have a shit ton of tapes on "how not to play an important game" for when things REALLY matter.
