So everyone gonna tune in to watch Rangers retaliate on national TV? Yeah, this is not gonna end well. They'll send one guy (prob Smith) to the slaughter. He will get his head knocked in while the Rangers players taps their sticks against the boards and Wilson smiles away into the penalty box again. Probably gonna lose the game 4-1 aswell. I would love to see everyone go batshit crazy with high sticks, cross-checks, elbows and what not, but they're all too scared for what will come their way.

Its like they didnt watch the situation. Here is the full video - - Wilson punches Buch laying on the ice helpless - Strome tries to pull Wilson away from Buch - Caps player #26 (I think) then jumps on Strome. They lay on the ice "1v1" with the ref trying to separate them. - At the same time Strome, #26 and refs are tangled up, Wilson jumps in as the 3rd guy and punches Strome a couple times - Panarin then jumps up to stop Wilson going after another Ranger player. At this point a normal human being would just stop and skate a little round with Panarin while the refs sorts things out. - Instead Wilson (And Van Riemsdyk) "attacks" Panarin (see the video above after 20 seconds). - Wilson punches like a crazy and gets Panarin's helmet off. - Wilson then decides that punching 3 Rangers players in 5 seconds is not enough. Proceeds to take a nice grip on Panarin's head, slew foot him and judo throw him head first towards the ice. How anyone watches that and thinks "meeh, its no big deal" is crazy to me.

He's not wrong, but you dont have to tell the world that not only are they a bunch of pussies, but they know it themself. Besides, you dont have to be a 190cm, 100kg to retaliate. Cross-checks, slew-foots, sucker-punches, running the goalie. I dont care. Its 3 meaningless games remaining, one against Wilson and his team who has important games coming up. Just do some damage and let them taste their own medicine. Maybe someone will talk some sense into Wilson's stupid head if they have to play the entire playoffs with their backup goalie and no Backstrom.

Did you see the slow-mo video? Its pretty clear. Slew-foot, hair pulling and his other hand is showed into Panarin's face to get full force when he slams him. No helmet and head first. Ofcourse I've seen nasty plays before, but you made it sound ok to slam a player like that just because Panarin grabbed his back to make him stop punching the guy with his head on the ice.

Punching a guy laying on the ice from behind has never been a "hockey play". Neither has throwing people without a helmet head first to ice with full force. I dont see how that's so hard to understand.

I see hockey players grab someone from behind to drag them away from a teammate every game. Never have I seen anyone respond to that by punching the guys helmet off and then judo throw him head first to the ice. Never. Panarin probably saved his career by landing on the shoulder first.
