  1. Petition for John Brancy to sing the athem for every home game all season.
  2. Of course the guy who creates the mess gets to keep his job.
  3. Missed opportunity for a, 'Retirement Bowness' headline. I'll see myself out.
  4. Definitely something to it. Also more teams now than there were when Montreal and Toronto were cleaning up. Toronto was also very poorly run for at least a couple decades when Ballard owned them.
  5. My theory of some of this team conserving energy until the playoffs start continues to gain steam! (No, I will not get off this)
  6. Igor has had an amazing turnaround this season. It's one of their best stories in a season full of good ones. Practically looking like Vezina form Shesterkin.
  7. Yeah, I don't think the record with him is happenstance. They play with bigger balls and a little more oomph knowing there's a guy there who's watching their backs and will stick up for them.
  8. I love that he was laughing hysterically in the penalty box when there was a skirmish going on in front of it.
  9. That Wyatt Johnston overtime winner in game three could go down as one of the biggest goals in Stars' history, especially if they win the whole thing.
  10. Yeah, I would expect an even stronger Hurricanes team next game as they stare down the possibility of going down 0-2. Still, though, Zibanejad is in a great groove right now. You can feel it and see it on the ice.
  11. It's definitely hard to considering the team's record, but I think you need to consider it on this stage against this team. Their skating just looks too much for him right now. That, and he's a target of the league and officials, which is annoying. Don't risk basically giving Carolina free power plays. Brodzinski is good in a pinch for a few games, but maybe not necessarily someone you want to play all the time, either.
  12. Faksa scores in the opening minute of the third for the lead.
  13. Yeah, nothing has really changed. He's carved out a nice niche for himself there, and won a Cup. Good for him, but he is what he is. Plus, the Rangers weren't that great when he was here anyway. Just a different time when the organization was selling some things off and transitioning.
  14. It might be easy to say now, but I had a good feeling about that whole thing. He took last year to heart and was committed. He could've been all go and no show, but was anything but. A career, MVP- type season and one of the best offensive seasons in Rangers history.
  15. Rangers legend Brett Howden with the equalizer late in the second.
