  1. What? How was I absolving Gallant? I said 'one of' the worst in regards to Quinn. Guess who else I would put on that list?
  2. It doesn't really bother me either, but it's definitely clear he doesn't use his full skill set. I just think sometimes some may take that net presence for granted, especially when I remember they went years without someone like that. That's basically it, I guess.
  3. There's no way it has anything to do with the record. Probably bad exit interviews or they just observed that he's not a very good head coach. Me, personally, one of the worst I've seen. I think Gorton and JD partly lost their jobs because of this hire.
  4. Looks like a great time as always. That's cool that a lot of you guys on here meet up and do stuff. It looks like the place was packed. A lot of other Rangers fans there to watch the game also?
  5. I don't think so. I think he'll be missed when he's gone. I remember for years the Rangers didn't have guys that stood in front of the net and was a presence there, and fans bitched about it. Now they do, and they bitch about it. Again, he has plenty of faults and should definitely do a little more for this size and skating. But, he deserves plenty of kudos for what he does well. As we know, a lot of players aren't willing to do that all or most of the time.
  6. Kreider has his faults for sure, but he'll probably go down as one of the most underappreciated/underrated Rangers ever.
  7. Ovechkin is awesome, no doubt. But if I'm building a team, I think I'm taking Crosby first every time. Yeah, he's just playing out the string at this point. Father time remains undefeated, and the team around him has gotten worse. He'll go down as the best goal scorer of all time. I never thought I'd see someone ever break Wayne's record, it's remarkable.
  8. Perhaps, yes. I was going to say the best since the 2013-2015 run, but I'd say this is even better. More skilled, too. lol
  9. It seems like a lot of average hockey fans just don't know what they're talking about and just can't observe and think for themselves. They're all just reactionary, and believe what the NHL talking heads say as gospel. It's pretty sad.
  10. Either way, this team can beat you no matter what. As much as Rempe likes to drop them, he also knows just when to do enough to be annoying. I think it's something he'll only get better at too. It's such a big difference when he's in the lineup. Not only does he make opponents shy away from some of our guys, but he also injects the team with bigger balls, it seems.
  11. 'One day' could very well be on Friday. I'm kind of expecting shit to go down in Washington.
  12. The chemistry and camaraderie with these guys is unreal. The best I've seen it in a very long time.
  13. Yeah, this injury could cost them the season. Nashville is a pretty damn good team for a seventh seed. I think they may be a bit better than their record may indicate. They almost always find a way to be competitive as a franchise.
  14. Definitely the Rangers toughest opponent. They were one of the most difficult matches up for them this season, maybe the toughest. I like our team a lot, but Florida is just loaded.
  15. Big rebound game. My disdain for him makes rooting for Colorado difficult, as much as I like that team. It doesn't sway me that much, though. I'm still rooting for the Avs. I still think it can easily go seven, but we'll see. The promising sign for them is that they're scoring a lot against Hellebuyck.
  16. Panthers have won eleven straight playoff overtime games? Whoa.
  17. Tampa Bay is still very good, but the Panthers are on another level. Mostly dominated and deserved to win.
  18. It almost feels like a double win getting a victory in a game in which those two officiated.
