Wait I win one and move down a slot? Lmao. Jeez Ozzy. I gotta buy you some beers or something? -
I'd concede it to you for the hat stuff, but I need the points. Been shut out for weeks. Gotta finish strong. You probably got as many points for the 3 mentions you got anyway... If Goodrow is coming alive, and rounding into the guy the Rangers paid, we are in luck. We need THAT type of player in the playoffs.

I don't even think that should be a penalty. Jets announcers are hamming it up a bit. Morrisseys head is low but is also leading with his stick to punish the guy about to crush him. You can see his stick explode on the hit. I don't even think he hits his head. Calgary guys feet leave the ice upon contact and follows through with his arms like you're supposed to. One legit elbow in this league gives a player a reputation. Yet stick swings, slew foots, hits from behind and other shit, never has any weight on refs making these calls or the league punishing certain players. Morrissey on the hit-- "I watched it after. In the moment I didn't feel like it was dirty, I guess. I felt like I got smoked and it's part of the game. When I watched it after he kind of extends the elbow. Thankfully he just grazed my chin and didn't make contact but obviously he's got a history and the elbow is probably the piece I feel is the reckless part of the hit. The league will look it. Obviously he's got a couple of suspensions so not the best to be losing money like that. We'll see what happens." The elbow was initially called a minor penalty, but was changed to a major following a review. -- https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/calgary-flames-f-martin-pospisil-assessed-major-game-misconduct-for-elbowing-jets-josh-morrissey-1.2099705 How'd it even get reviewed if it was initially called a minor? I thought they automatically call these majors, to make it a reviewable play? Can't review a minor.

Exactly. To "ease him back into game shape"- wink wink. Then just never put the pairing back together with the "excuse" of winning. Lmao. It's sad that it is likely such a temperamental subject for the player and the locker-room. The team looks better with Miller/Schneider. Miller looks way more comfortable. It's not even about Trouba not being good (atleast for me, because I don't think hes bad at all). I think the chemistry is a better fit. Miller is more aggressive offensively, yet also more attentive at his job in his own zone when he's with Schneider. Schneider is just better with mote icetime. I never really thought Miller/Trouba was a good pairing and expected it to be broken up upon Laviolette coming here. Never happened. Maybe next year, as they start leaning towards pushing Trouba out the door.

I thought that the Rangers would have worked on trying something new with Zibanejad. But is the same old same old with the off wing one timer. It's all they do. It's the only shot he's willing to take. Who knows. Maybe come playoff time, teams concentrate 1000% on the Panarin line and it opens up looks for Zibanejads line. Then again the PP is going to be a huge factor. That's where Kreider can step up and do what he's been doing there. Zibanejad can only improve offensively as far as production goes. He's better than this. We all know that. If he gets it going, it's huge. If not..... Meh, they'll just have to do what they've been doing and hope the lower lines can help grind down opposing defenses, and expect good/better than average goaltending from Shesterkin.
