Gave up little for a guy that adds the element of speed, which will come in handy in some way. I wanted a different type of player for the spot that was available. Roslovic is good for lower line duty and depth. Not as a regular top 6 forward. 

I'm seriously hoping Wheeler can get healthy for the playoffs.  Sorry to the haters. I think he worked best with 20/93 over every option tried. Or maybe Chytil can step in at RW. Heck. I go Jonny Brodzinski there at this point.

Don't even tell me that it's actually Gustafsson elevated to the 2nd pairing and Miller demoted to the 3rd pair type of situation.  Judging by who the pairings have been out there with... it looks like that's the case.

Well yeah. Obviously nothing should ever be considered an automatic. The Rangers need to take advantage of the Isles missing their best D man though.

This is a test of their fortitude.  They must do what is expected. I expect them to win this game.  The Isles missing their best D man is a Ranger advantage. A big one. It's not often that the Rangers capitalize on such an  advantage. They have played down to some inferior opponents. It can't happen today.

Trouba doesn't suck. He just needs a hard reset and maybe a reality check. 3rd pairing will help him in the long run and help the Rangers find out just how good Schneider is. 

I love Schneider. I think he's a complete player. IMO, he's more valuable than Miller in the long run. He started off a little lame, but once mid season/maybe allstar break time came he hit his stride. Trouba getting hurt was a blessing for this kids confidence.  All he needed was a chance. 

Eagerly awaiting the news of Wheeler being cleared to play.

Nah. He's all they got. Despite the box scores from last post season,  Panarin played playoff hockey. He had a lot of bad luck, posts and mad good saves that made it look worse than it was. That and sone bad giveaways. He seemed to be the only one that showed up last post season past game 2. 

He's the least of their worry. Zibanejads line continues to be a blackhole offensively at 5v5. The 79/8 pairing is disgustingly bad. Goaltending is back to being average or less. 

They're not playing North South again. 

Hopefully they can flip a switch and play within the system and do things right. This floating and shooting from bad angles and from 35 feet away, is not the game plan and it can't happen in the playoffs. 

Maybe Rempe is needed,  if only to show these pussies that a stripped down, simplistic, straight to the net effort is how you have to play.
