  1. Also, we really need to stop overreacting to every loss.

We're a GREAT team. We've won nearly twice as many games as we've lost. We're right there with Florida, Carolina, Winnipeg, Colorado, and Vancouver (fuck off, Boston and your 29 losses and your 15 fugazi ass loser points). You can't not play the full 60 against these teams and expect to win, and Winnipeg played an excellent game. Hellebuyck was great, they had sticks in the lanes, and they defended brilliantly for most of the game. We did not play our best game last night, but it's nothing to overly concern ourselves with.

Rest up, play a full 60 against Boston, and start gearing up for a long playoff run.

I am in no way advocating I want the Rangers to slide out of the division lead, but would it really be the end of times? The top seed in each division is shooting for the 1 seed overall in the East, since the 2 gets you a likely date with Tampa. And again, you need to beat good teams to get where you want to go. But finishing 2 in the Metro gets you a date with one of PHI/WSH/NYI in Round 1. May not be the worst thing. I hate to be the “go the easiest route” person but I wouldn’t be all that mad. Obviously I’d rather just get the 1 seed overall and beat up on the WC2. But the 2 seed in the division may be a better situation.

Picking your opponent by losing is a fools errand. We might like the round 1 opponent better, but you're getting the "easiest" R1 opponent by just winning games anyway. And that comes with the added benefit of more home games. I'll take that any day.

    Back for playoffs?

Currently being fitted for his bionic leg. Unfortunately, it's going to take a few weeks to get the programming done for his leg to react as his brain wants it to.

You'll notice that next time he gets slashed, his blood is a more...oily color.

  4. Just some friendly reminders....

    1 - This is game 5 in 6.5 days.

2 - This is the first home game after a road trip

3 - Puck drop is less than 20 hours from the end of the last game

4 - All in all, this is a scheduled loss in spite of the Isles also having played yesterday.

That said, drink these fake ass Patrick Roy coached bitches under the table and beat them with their own beer mugs.

Harbaugh is more RB focused than WR focused.

I expect the Chargers to be looking for a workhorse back with some speed, maybe two of them.

He'll be fine, Josh Palmer is good, Quentin Johnson as much as he sucked last year, he was still a rookie.  They are probably going to draft either Nabers, Odunze or Bowers.  Maybe they can re-sign Mike Williams, he had to be released to get under the cap, they were $25 million over.  Keenan Allen will be 32, and he's been hurt a lot the last couple of years so getting a 4th for him isnt so bad.  Draft is pretty deep this year.

I don't share your optimism, my man. Allen may be older and a little injury-nagged, but there's not a more reliable receiver in the league. Going to QJ or Palmer, or even one of the draft eligibles - that's a downgrade no matter how you look at it. Williams, I can take or leave. He's all big plays, and I can see Palmer stepping into that spot just fine, but it ain't open unless you have threats elsewhere.

Maybe Odunze or Nabers will step right in and make sense, but as of right now, it's Quentin Dropston, Josh Palmer who can't seem to be able to stay on the damn field, Derius Davis (low key, I'm excited about him, actually, but it takes time), swapping Gerald Everett for Will Dissly, swapping Ekeler for Gus the Bus?

This ain't pretty. Combine that with the fact that Harbaugh likes to build from the trenches out and you're left wondering here.
