Haven't been on here this week, as I've been on vacation. Have had a great week, and an especially good weekend in VT last weekend. ;) Mike - my condolences honey :( Jules - congrats and enjoy your time with Grace and her family. :) Phil - looks like you had an awesome wedding shower. :) The wedding will be here before you know it. Joey - so glad your baby girl is doing better. :) As a parent, it feels like a knife in your gut when your child is sick or injured. I'm a mother of a fearless boy - I know this all too well! lol Keith & Chris - stay safe and hydrated in this heat! Chris & Joey - sorry your M-i-Ls are such bitches. :( I am very lucky in that respect - I'm pretty sure she'll still be my "mother" even after I divorce her son. lol :D

Well, I met with the lawyer last week. Basically, I'm entitled to half of everything - house, vehicles, 401k, snowmobiles, etc. - I don't want to ruin the jackass, I just want my fair share, but holy shit!! :eek: I know the money won't come to me immediately anyway. I'm gonna pay off the bills and save some money of my own, then when my gentleman friend is back among the working poor like me, I'll file and GTFO. :)

Well, my appointment with the lawyer got postponed until this Wednesday afternoon because my father's father died last week and the funeral coincided with my original appointment...nothing like making me nervous and sick for another week...*sigh*

I've been on such a roller coaster ride these past few weeks - I'm mentally exhausted...I know the lawyer will spell everything out for me next week and tell me what to do and what to expect, etc. but I keep going from such a high to such a low feeling and back again all the time. I just want it to be done with. Of course, my gentleman friend needs to find a job...*sigh* a typical musician - not a pot to piss in...but he thinks I'm beautiful and treats me so well! :)
