I find it very hard to be upset. Perhaps a little conservative, but the adds are tangible and cost virtually nothing.

He kinda...may not?
Oh, he's RH? NM.. extend him

Even if Robertson is bad, there's more value in at least finding that out for sure, in the event someone is needed.
A 4th for a below replacement level guy, who is old... I don't get it. Just feels like they lit a decent draft pick on fire.

So much debate when there's an available player, on reasonable term, with a proven track record, in the exact hole they're attempting to fill.
He's not even named Frank Vatrano, either.
The Zegras talk may be sexy, but there's no way they're going to war with him penciled in, anywhere.

Awesome sound bite. He's got 15 points in his last 26 games. That's better than anybody on the right side of the Rangers aside from Lafreniere.
He's played 60 NHL games over the past 1,100 days. He should be well rested, that's for sure.

Pacioretty has scored 6 goals in the past 700 days.

Definitely a curveball, but important to remember that internal organizational metrics/evaluations likely differ greatly from *checks notes* Corey Pronman.
Interestingly, they didn't contact me to use my proprietary system in which I watch two shifts of a player and just tell them if he's good, or not. Maybe next time.

Buckle up fellas. Can we get Zuccarello back?
His deal just has too much term attached to it. That'd be sweet, though.

They don't need a 200-foot player there. They need a three-foot one. As in one who'll play three feet from the net and take the puck there regularly. Zib needs someone to drag his ass into the fight. Get off the fucking wall.
I hear Michael Bunting may be available

Vatrano. It was before the sprint to the end and it is now.
I'd rather put Vesey or Kappo there, at least they play 200 feet.

Hopefully @Dunny has Vinni Lettieri's phone number!
I doubt his agent even has his phone number

My biggest issue with Guentzel is that I'm really not interested in rooting for him. Not even slightly. I'll be on the haters wagon on day 1.
-
Yeah, why would you when you can get Frank Vatrano?

I'm really gonna need to see a Buchnevich "Welcome Home" IG post in the next 30 hours.
-
Buchnevich or Vatrano. That's a real tough one.

I think maybe your description of top dollar is a little bit different than mine.
Firstly he's paying market value, secondly this draft is crap.
Nobody knows what this draft is, the perception may be so, but anybody saying that with certainty is simply being foolish.
-
Hard to complain, he's fine, and the cost was fine. I'm happy.
If Vatrano is the other shoe to drop, though, well, that would suck. He blows. Vinny Littieri is on waivers, basically the same player, I might even like Vinny more. Vatrano is just a classic garbage player, on a garbage team playing garbage minutes against garbage goalies.
Puts up 28 goals lol
The trap is so obvious.

Gonna be tough when we pay through the nose for Wennberg and guys like Tarasenko and Mantha go for virtually nothing.
Hopefully this is a sign that Drury has something really special cooking.

I think the cost of acquisition is something I would rather not pay for a rental, because I honestly think he's going back to Pittsburgh.
Then we'll have a line of Guentzel-Sid-Kakko lighting us up next year.
Exactly, and Othmann or Berard running Fox through the boards on the forecheck. Fuck Guentzel.

I just don't see the value in a mortgage that large for a couple playoff goals, and a scenario where we're all scratching our heads wondering why new player x or y doesn't fit in, or isn't producing at anything close to their historical clip.
