  1. At the senior center last night I had an HDC. Hold Dick Cough. Heading south now....dbags
  2. Oh crap. Thought I was in Sunrise. Holly Cow. I have the CRS you know !
  3. Fantastic win. Impressed again with the chemistry and balance. Head north to Tampa for another playoff-type match. Let's Go Rangers ! Kreider Watch: CK looked energetic and physical. Back-to-back hustle games. Proud of him. G: 0 A: 1 SOG: 1 Hit: 1 19:11 Soft/Poinyetta Rating: Nil.
  4. I sure love me some B2B. I don't see a Rempe altercation tonight. Just a clean 3-0 (donut) win. Then a road trip to NC to see all our Cane friends.
  5. Very impressed tonight. Four lines were digging all game. Kreider Watch: 1 G 0 A 6 SOG 18:07 Even. Soft / Poinyetta Meter: 1 out of 5. (Two soft TO's in OZ, but no major "ole's!") But, overall it was his best game all year. Back checked well, involved 5 on 5, big net front presence and he looked engaged. I think the trade deadline may have spooked him ! He played great. This is looking good, and may be exactly what Drury envisioned. We'll see. LGR
  6. Holy Crap. I may need to make a road trip. Honestly, I haven't been to Long Island since a Bruce concert at the Coliseum in the 80's. Yes, I'm an old bat. JJ
  7. Relieved we didn't make this trade. We didn't need another 5'11" - 180 lb winger. Without Crosby, Guentzel is above average. Stay the course now. 20 games to acclimate with Wennby and fine tune for a run. LGR - 30 Years has been long enough !
  8. Who did Kreider replace as longest tenured loser? Was it Hank ? Yup, Zib's got the CK blues.
  9. I bet Mr. Price remembers too. You know, that could have been the beginning of his slide. Yes, that's it Ozzy. He bumped into someone and has felt bad ever since. What a waste of speed and size.
  10. For a minute, forget the stats. It's the attitude, the body language and the lack of heart. Watch the other players react when he comes to the bench after another TO or poor play. I've seen it in the eyes of Zib, Vinnie, Johnny B and Jimmy V. You can see it. He's skating (pun...maybe) and his teammates know it. Get on a line with CK and its the equivalent of a death sentence. He's a One Trick Pony and a full-fledged Poinyetta !
  11. This is like Laffy all over again. #1 overall is a bust, blah blah blah. Now Laffy is just starting to hum and its year four. #2 overall, gotta trade him. Slow the roll dudes. KK will be fine if you continue to coach him up and let him grow. It's only been since 1994, what's the fargin hurry right ! Personally, I like KK and think he will be a star. Once again, I look at this team and see tremendous upside. Plus, I think we can win now with just a few tweaks. LGR JJ
  12. Hated it. Only watched because of Nic Pizzolatto and that fabulous first season. Jody looked awful. But, if I was in a pinch, I'd have to do her. Just so happens, I'm in a pinch !
  13. This loss hurt. I'm not sure I see this game the same way as most of you regarding the positives. I felt the ice was tilted significantly towards the Panthers most of the night. The failures to clear the zone, the constant turnovers in both zones, and the attempts to make the fancy - perfect pass just seem to compound the obvious. The Cats are a better team right now, and they are motivated to get back to the Cup, and Win it. Yes, we can play better. Yes, we can beat them. But, not if we play like last night. The Kreider chart: 1 goal, 3 shots, 1 hit and a -1. Eye test ratings: 1. Carrying puck in traffic; fail. 2. Back Checking; fail. 3. Avoiding Turnovers; fail. 4. Toughness, Hustle and Grit; fail. Overall Eye Test Rating: Soft to Poinyetta. 4 out of 5 on Gina Meter Now we wait five days for the Blues to end. JJ
  14. Herb Brooks said it, "You need street fighters to win a cup." I think Ryan fits that bill.
  15. Oh, and the Trouba scrotal sack massaging was because he was the MSG Spotlight player of the game. Adds a new twist to the term Swag Bag.
  16. He's not a good fighter. He's tough and uses his size, but any pure puncher (Olivier) can strike early and often. He should tread lightly for a bit. Overall, game was frustrating and yes it sure seems CBJ have our #. Trouba and Miller both +1. Did feel like -12 as stated earlier by someone. I charted Kreider again, and his two points and +1 feel hollow. I think he may have bumped into someone at some point. But his JJ rating tonight was Soft to Middling. Cherry Picker, One-trick Pony Kreids gets a 5 out of 10. Regarding the poster that keeps finishing on his forehead, good for you. Aim high.
  17. Ozzy, you said this would be a safe zone. No judging, no ranking and no asshats. Now I have the complete list !
  18. Springfield. I figured out to what "Jenny" you boys were referencing. Me like. My eggs are blue.
  19. Thanks Phil for the GDT. I'm new here, but I can tell you this forum is fantastic for all the varied insights and the obvious camaraderie amongst the core group. It's a joy to be along for the ride. I'm surrounded by Caps fans here in VA but I fly my NYR flag with pride everyday. I think Gudbranson is going to have a problem today. Or, Rempe lights up Voronkov. Not sure if anyone wants a piece of Matty Ice. We'll see. Anyway, thanks for allowing me to be on board. I don't participate during the game as I watch under the "cone of silence!" but I'll weigh in after. Number 11 in the books by 8:37 PM. Let's Go Rangers ! Jersey Jouster in VA
  20. Dude can take a shot too. DeShlongerius hit him square on the nose and nothing. Which Bluebonnet gets it today ? Mr. Gudbranson - your appointment is set for 6:11 PM. Let's Go Rangers - #11 cometh today !
  21. His Mom sounds cool. 91 and watching every shift. Real nice win. Liking this team a lot. Go get #11. Sammy "The Pivotman" Ersson wins the circle jerk award. Next up: Blue Bonnets LGR
