  1. This is a trap game. Going back to back for a team record vs a bottom feeding team. Rangers need to be focused from the drop of the puck and give it full effort for all 60 minutes.
  2. The kid played just over 5 mins and managed to smack around one of the toughest goons in the league, get two hits and score the game winning goal. I think after the way he handed Martin and now Deslauriers, other cement heads around the league are going to think twice before getting in his crosshairs. That can only open up some ice for our skill guys, and that's why they need to keep him with the club and dressing every game. Sit Edstrom before Rempe. Ideally play them both but if its a choice, Rempe needs to dress.
  3. Rempe with the game winner, gotta love it. Just keep letting this team play as is Drury, don't fuck it up with trades please.
  4. Rempe did what he had to do when he got challenged, in warm ups no less. Deslauriers is in the NHL for one purpose, to hit people, intimidate players and fight, and he is good at that, so good on Rempe for trading right hands with him and giving him some nice welts and nicks on his ugly mug. The kid is a breath of fresh air in my opinion and he needs to stay put the rest of the year and playoffs if the Rangers want to have a shot at the cup.
  5. I'm not sure what the risk is with Brodzinski. He is not a flashy player, or overly physical, I will give you that, but the kid hustles every shift, backchecks his ass off, is reliable defensively, wins 53% of his faceoffs and is chipping in about 0.40 points per game. Plus, this is the best Kakko has looked all year skating on his right wing. He's doesn't have the talent of a Chytil, but he has been a solid 3C since he got the job. Cuylee/Brodzinki/Kakko line has been good almost every game and I think they are possessing the puck well and out chancing other teams consistently, so I see no risk at all with keeping them together.
  6. I just hope Rempe lasts longer than 13 seconds today! They need him all game to counter the Flyers thugs.
  7. I agree with what you're saying here but the real problem is the guy(s) in the department of safety that make these calls because they are not consistent at all. I remember not to long ago, Tom Wilson punching Buchnevich in the head while he was flat on the ice and then when Panarin tried to stop him, Wilson grabbed him by the hair and smashed his head into the ice and he got a small fine. The league needs some real consistency with this stuff.
  8. Its been obvious to anyone that has watched the Rangers this year. I just hope Drury doesn't ruin things trying to be GM of the year and lets this team play this way the rest of the season and in the playoffs. Chemistry can beat just talent and this team has good chemistry right now and it doesn't need to be fucked with. Keep Jonny at 3C and keep all our draft picks and prospects, and keep the Hansen Line together. Screw the trade deadline. They are showing what they can do, so put it on THEM to do this in the playoffs. No excuses, no what if's.....let em play.
  9. 99% of these "rumors" from "insiders" are total bullshit. GM's call other teams and ask questions about players because that is their job and all it means is GM's talk to one another. It's such BS.
  10. The refs that reviewed the play and gave him a match penalty are the ones that should have a hearing and then get suspended.
  11. Having been a Ranger fan for many years, I just know Drury is going to send him back down. It's what the Rangers do.....find something that works and look for ways to break it.
  12. Tonight....13 seconds of ice time, 17 minutes of penalties plus a match penalty. LOL. And he set the stage for a Devil beat down. Which Hansen Brother is he? Steve?
  13. Most fun watching a Ranger game in a long time. Great team effort in every aspect of the game. And couldn't come against a better opponent in the twat devils.
  14. Trouba with an awesome hit. Love Bastians tears. LOL You can't tell me that this team hasn't been much more physical since Rempe and Edstrom were called up. Lindy is hitting. Schneider is hitting. Trouba is hitting again. Cuylee is hitting, but in fairness to him, he has been hitting all year. If Drury sends Rempe down to the AHL, I'm going to drive to MSG and beat him.
  15. I really like what Brodzinski is brining to this team right now, he always hustles and is making plays.
  16. Rempe got screwed, what is he suppose to do in that situation? Too bad it wasn't Jack Hughes.
  17. I didn't say he is easy to hit, I said anyone can be hit if you know how to hit. And his name does not belong in the same conversation as Barry Sanders.
  18. Hitting is an art form in any sport and anyone can be lined up if you know how. Unfortunately, its a lost art in hockey for the most part. Would be nice to see though.
  19. Fuck the Devils, no team I hate more. I want to see Rempe put Hughes in the 3rd row.
  20. Good for him, he earned it. It's a win/win contract for sure. I hope the kid keeps playing like he has and sticks with the club for the next few years. We need more guys like him that hustle and break their ass every game.
  21. I have no problem with Drury laying off on the rentals this year and letting this team give it a go as is. They have depth pieces in house in Hartford. Tarasenko didn't move the needle last year and doubt he would again this year, his D is not up to the task. I like Vesey better with Kreider and Mika, makes a really solid possession and defensively responsible line with a little grit. Troch line is set. 3rd line with Johnny B has really been good and solid defensively, and what more can you ask of a 3rd line? Would Wennberg make much of a difference? He may not even gel with Cuylee and Kakko like Johnny has. The 4th line with Goody and the twin towers are nothing but fun as hell to watch. Big, fast, physical, and Rempe is the heavyweight they need to take care of block heads around the league that want to run our guys and take cheap shots. The D corp is what it is at this point. Top 4 aren't going to change and Gus is a Lavi fave, so he and Schneids aren't going to change. The key is Igor. If he plays anywhere near the way he did tonight, they have as good a shot at the cup as anyone, as is. And Quickie is there just in case. Just because they have cap room, doesn't mean they have to spend it. All it may do is fuck up the chemistry of the team at this point. Let em play Drury.
  22. If that is how they plan to play the rest of the year, Drury should keep all his draft picks and just let them go into the playoffs as is. Bring up some depth from Hartford in case of injuries and let the boys play. The team chemistry is just right at this point with the 2 big boys on the 4th line and everyone feeding off their energy.
  23. Dallas is a really solid team and the Rangers are playing them fast and being physical. Can't complain about a thing they are doing so far, just hope they finish out the game the same way.
  24. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think having a 4th line that plays with a lot of energy and physicality pumps up the team and everyone else plays a little harder and more engaged. Lindgren's hit on Pavelski was the best hit I've seen him throw in a while. Please Lavi....keep the Hansens with the team and I'm fine with Vesey on Mika's wing. Gives that line more grit and another solid defensive winger.
