It is. Even better if they can get him to buy in and play hard every game and work in the defensive zone. Berube won’t be any easier on him than Torts was.

Not that I really care if he’s back or not but if he does sign with another team and the Rangers again trade for him, would that be the first time someone would be traded for, by the same team, in the history of the nhl?

He’s an 05. Just turned 18 a couple days ago.

The camp was actually this past week. The talent was amazing. My guy didn’t make it but I was impressed that he was able to hang. I was checking Elite prospects regularly during the camp and just about every kid that was standing out already were D1 commits. The experience of playing against those types of players, all grinding for a spot, is going to be very helpful to him moving forward. He left pumped up that he knows he can hang. Next step is being able to take over against the same type of talent. He’s got the Maryland Black Bears (NAHL) camp up next and I think he’s really going to kill it there.

You know, I like Dubois from a distance. Something tells me that if you watched him every game you would be left wanting more for some reason.

Brunette should definitely get an interview. I’d be shocked if he’s not a head coach in some NHL city in 2023-2024. His work has been outstanding. I really think this will be a younger guy that has earned a chance. I’m not thinking it’ll be Laviolette, Boudreaux, and definitely not Sutter. Fuck that guy’s face. Plus you probably couldn’t give him enough money to coach in NY.

I think @Dunny mentioned it earlier but I’m done with the retreads. I want our own guy that has earned this spot. Knoblauch has done all that was asked. I would be very interested in Andrew Brunette too.

If someone offers Patrick Kane a 5 year contract at this point it better not be the Rangers.

I think the biggest issue here is that you’re inviting people to your house that aren’t Hockey fans!

The cup would be ideal but how many retired Rangers numbers have a cup attached to their career? It’s not a requirement and his career, once it’s done, will be close to the top of the career goal list by a Ranger. I’m thinking he’ll be damn close to Gilbert’s 408 goals, we’ll be around 700 career points and over 1000 games as a Ranger.

I’m expecting them to be hyper aggressive in the first 10 minutes of the game tomorrow as a way to make up for the egg they laid in game 1. Hopefully that leads to a bad penalty or two against.

He’s already there. #20 will never be worn by another Ranger once he’s done.

I think Sutter is next to go in a "mutually agreed" on move to part ways. He seems like he just sucks the soul out of players.

Think the Panthers get a W in game 3 and that's about it. This should be very one-sided.
