  1. Considering the next round will be more than likely Florida, and they love to hit (the hits in their series with Boston are insane).......do you bring Rempe in for that one, to try and keep them honest? Or just for the home games? Or do you keep him out with the hopes the Panthers play their game and catch penalties?

With a training camp and some weight room time in the off season, those guys will be tougher!  I like Edstrom's board work...guy's a beast!

The Twin Towers, crushing opponents left and right. I can't wait lol

I think I dig Lavvy's idea during his presser;  it was something along the lines of getting the matchups he wanted while on the road.

That's coach's thinking, and not "fan thinking".  I think I'll roll with Lavvy's choices.  I think he's got our backs on this one.  We have plenty of years to watch Rempe, and I bet we haven't seen the last of him in these playoffs anyway.

Absolutely. Just imagine next year, with both Rempe and Edstrom on the 4th line. Monsters!

That's where getting Chytil involved comes in. He might make something out of Kakko and that 3rd line in general. Last time Kakko was truly buzzing, it was on the same line with Chytil. That Cuylle-Wennberg-Kakko line had been responsible and you could trust it not to blow the game, but they weren't contributing a lick offensively.

I'd still like to see Chyts centering Kakko & Cools on the 3rd, with Wennberg dropped to centering the 4th. Won't win many faceoffs, but I feel like it generates a little more offense. And when Goodie was on the wing late in the season is when he started scoring. Dunno, just a shot.

I wonder if he is still shaken up over the hit from Game 4 against Washington.

Hes played great. Few times I noticed that Gustafsson got time with PP1 outside of him needing to sit for the beginning of it due to being checked out or just lost in a line change quickly or something along those lines.

Its playoffs. All these guys are a little banged up.

Was listening to Vinces podcast this morning, he mentioned the same thing - thought it was that hit from Jensen against Washington.

  6. I hate to tinker with what's working, but personally, I sit him. Obviously I'd rather see Chyts come back, slot him into the 3rd line and drop Wennberg to center the 4th. I have some reservations that he slides in seamlessly, considering how long he's been off, but all indications are that he's been participating 100% in practice for a month now, so I have to feel he has a sense of the Lavi game plan. If he's not ready to go, I think Brodz centering the 4th works out ok as well. He centered the 4th for a few games at the end of the season, and that line was buzzing. It gives them a little more speed, and if I remember correctly, that's when Goodrow started producing by playing on the wing.

And please keep in mind, I absolutely LOVE Rempe. I just think I'd rather be able to roll all 4 lines without hesitation and not make someone double shift late in these games. I want these guys fresh, the playoffs are only going to get harder as we go.
