  1. Same. I thought they were much further away, but they could've been moving in circles for all we know. I agree with there being more to Beth as a character. I think the ending really shows that she's matured into the apocalypse which is very much contradictory to what Dawn says to her. I'm looking forward to what happens to her. This isn't the same angsty teenager from season two ready to slit her wrists.
  2. Mackenzie Skapski is off to a really good start since becoming the backup in Hartford. 2-0-0 with a .958 SV%, .94 GAA and 1 SO. Worth following to see how he progresses.
  3. Been a long week so far. Just work on top of work. Thank God I'm not applying to college this week. Did have a positive though. Got to meet Deborah Ann Woll yesterday and she gave us some good advice and information at our play rehearsal.
  4. http://postmediaprovince.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/zanders.jpg Anders Eriksson. I'd still take him over Hunwick and Kostka. Solid 7th D.
  5. I thought the episode was pretty solid. I don't think a death was necessary in that first episode. I get it that they're being imprisoned by some cannibals, but it was probably only a day or two and as seen they had many containers with people. I think them keeping some characters along is better instead of just offing them because it might work in that situation. It's luck that both Glenn, Bob and Tyreese all got out of situations, but they're supposed to be lucky. It's like that guy that was in the cabin with Tyreese said about him continuing to be lucky. The next episode seems interesting and they definitely aren't done with the Terminus group. Should be interesting to see what happens. Hopefully there isn't this chain of revenge attacks like what happened with the Governor.
  6. Yeah. Some people take it overboard like Shia LaBeouf or Daniel Day-Lewis. I don't necessarily agree with some people who feel the need to be in character 100% of the time. It's "immersive", but also in many ways unnecessary. A good warm up time of 45 minutes to an hour before performing or shooting is enough time to get into proper character and warm up. Then again, that's just how I'm taught. The Strasberg teaching of the method acting doesn't include the whole really really become the character that some actors do.
  7. Definitely. I also respect the amount of effort and research he puts into his roles. As someone who practices method acting, you've got to respect people who really put the time in so they can really develop and make their character connected.
  8. 100% who I base a lot of my acting on. He and Kevin Spacey are the two actors I tray to encapsulate in all of my acting. I respect an actors ability to easily transition from comedy to drama as well as the ability be a proficient impressionist.
  9. I too auditioned for 3. I was content enough with 10. His outburst was pretty fun to do, but poorly acted by me in retrospect. I do more comedy though and like roles that I can make use of my voice acting and impressions.
  10. Saw it while in London as well. Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner were both fantastic as Price and Cunningham respectively. They left sometime in July so anyone who got to see them was fortunate because they've been playing those roles for at least 2 years. If you're into plays, I'd suggest seeing This is Our Youth by Ken Lonergan. It stars Michael Cera and it was just put on Broadway. I haven't seen the production yet, but I'm very familiar with the script and it's very good. Tickets for front mezz are $63 each for that right now. Though sold out, Id suggest A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder as well. Recent Tony Award Winner for Best Musical.
  11. It's Broadway Week in case people care. So, 2 for 1 tickets. A lot of shows have already sold out, but some good shows still have tickets.
  12. The dental game sucks. Acting is where it's at now.
  13. I'm aware of the situation. Can't get even more distracted. I say that now. I'm lucky if I can get away with not having to read my entire book for economics.
  14. 2 days until senior year. 2 days left to do my summer reading. Damn my procrastination.
  15. Saw Aladdin on Broadway tonight. It was fantastic. Got to meet James Monroe Iglehart after which was awesome. Had a really nerdy actor moment. Probably the first time I've ever been starstruck despite having met a bunch of hockey players over they years. But back to Aladdin, go see it if you have time. Broadway Week is coming up so people should look into tickets with discounts coming up.
  16. The Twitter argument between Sean Avery, Rich Clune and Riddick Bowe is pretty entertaining if people are bored. I had no idea who Riddick Bowe is, but apparently he's a self proclaimed legend. Guy seems childish.
  17. So, you're telling me that the tickets I have to see the Netherlands vs Spain in the finals are fake? Damn it. I'm here for a dental meeting. Rather I'm here while my mother attends a dental meeting.
  18. First time getting to post while in South Africa. My hotel won't let me connect to the site.
  19. He really didn't get to the wall THAT quickly. You also have to realize, he was in Braavos. Sailing from Braavos to the Wall isn't that long of a trip because Braavos is the closest point on Essos to Westeros.
  20. Has anyone else noticed that Derick Brassard kind of looks like what Gilly and Sam's child would look like.
